Why is sex worshipped by the ungodly?

I think this is because when one does not understand the pleasure that comes from serving God, then one has no meaning in their life other than to live like a beast.

If God was worshiped by Westerners instead of sex, then maybe there would not be so much evil in the world, since if one has the morality of an animal, then there is no reason not to commit rape, murder, homosexuality and other animalistic vices as well.

A healthy sex life is preferable to repression, which I feel contributed to the Catholic Priest Sex Scandals, and the ongoing Muslim Sex Predator Gangs in the UK.

As a side note, and since I know you're a foodie; ever tried flame grilled goat? It's a delicacy to people from certain regions of Mexico, and its surprisingly tasty.

If man is satisfied with his wife and not repressed, then why would he run around chasing after promiscuous young women at bars and nightclubs, and making bastard children? Obviously having only beastly pleasures in life is not satisfying.

um was raised lds dont know about the splinter groups but thick they believe they just get their wife maybe wives if they had more then one back when they weer doing that or if they get some more in the afterlife because theirs not enough men that get into the best heaven but its not an infinite number of wives

Are you saying that you’d do all of those things if you didn’t believe God told you not to?

I don’t believe in any gods yet I don’t do any of those things; how do you explain that fact?

You fear punishment of state? Why not, if it feels good and you have not to fear criminal retribution, then without God why would you prevent yourself?

Not really. It seems absence of sex makes people pretty grumpy so they find other ways of releasing that aggression.

Imagination may be the single greatest source of pleasure. As an author, you surely know this. Therefor, I disagree. Serving an imaginary being can be immensely pleasurable.

Rape and murder wouldn’t feel good to me because I have something called compassion. I wouldn’t do them even if they were legal, much as I wouldn’t commit adultery even though it isn’t illegal (where I am at least).

In general terms, I don’t see the distinction between someone who would rape and murder if only for their fear of punishment by the state and someone who would rape and murder if only for their fear of punishment by a god. Why didn’t you answer my question of whether the only thing preventing you from doing these things is fear of God, that if you didn’t believe, you’d happily rape and murder without a second thought?

I can imagine a great many things, but to worship them would be sheer lunacy. Adults arent small children- they should be able to differentiate between reality and imagination As an adult you surely know this.
