Your interpretation of these dynamics, are all wrong. If a person of color celebrates their race, they get a day or a month on the calendar to celebrate their diversity. If a white person does the same thing, this is racist and taboo. What month is white history month? There is a dual standard. Everyone is required to accept gay marriage, but if you promote heterosexual marriage, you are a hater.
This dual standard causes a backlash, which the left twists around and blames the victims of the dual standard, as the initiator of the hate. This irrational thinking brings to mind a pseudo-woman; women's prerogative to have a dual standard.
The game is similar to a couple, where one person in the couple likes to go out to the bars with their friends. The other person in the couple gets to stay home. If the other person, at home, was to do the same thing, this is treated differently. All hell will break loose.
Usually the person who takes liberties; goes to the bars, and complains if the other seeks a balance, is up to no good. They tend to project their shady intend onto the other, who is seeking balance. The left openly hates white for exploiting the world, it hates males for keeping woman down, it hates straights for not accepting gays and it hates religion for creating a high road that is hard to follow. All these targeted groups of left wing hate, seek fairness. Yet if they do the same this is hate.
How do you deal with unfair people running a scam? You stick to fairness and truth and ignore them.
I am for gay marriage. My reason is gays still behaves likes males, and tend to be promiscuous. If a gay was a woman in a males body one would expect less promiscuity. Something does not add up. The result is gay sex is very disease prone. Gay marriage creates monogamy, which helps to lower the rate of diseases. My opinion is practical and not philosophical. AIDS still impacts gays more than anyone else. Gay marriage may lower this.
Homosexuality is interesting in that it appears to disprove Darwin's theory of evolution. According to Darwin, natural selection is based on selective advantage, being naturally selected for reproduction. This is how advantage are propagated to the future. Homosexuality cannot reproduce, by its very nature. In other words, even if homosexuals had selective advantage, this advantage stops in time, since it is not passed forward genetically. It is always being made obsolete.
The analogy is say we had a new dinosaur that is dominate and should, according to Darwin have, natural selection. It gets to breed. Say it is sterile. It is lost in time since its genes don't go forward. It also impact the herd, since the herd is also made obsolete since the herd has placed its entire wager on the wrong horse. How often do things, not genetically propagated, again and again, end up in the gene pool as though propagated? Homosexuality is an anomaly with respect to the standard theory of evolution. It appears to disprove the theory, more than support it.
Homosexuality makes more sense from the POV of artificial selection. This is where manmade criteria override the Darwinian evolution. This has a basis in Creationism; humans were given willpower and choice. For example, dog breeds are not based on the call of the wild of natural selection. If we stopped all dog breeding, nature would merge all breeds into a common middle sized mutt.
Artificial selection tends to go the opposite direction, choosing shallow criteria like color, fur texture, goofy face. It avoids allowing nature to pick its own future, naturally. Homosexual is like a breed that goes against the trend of evolution. It is based on artificial selection. This is not an insult or value judgement, but a conclusion based on logic and inference.
