And your point would be? None that I can see really, because I never indicated that other presidents did not also added to the national debt. But that does not change the fact (albeit an awkward one to you) that Trump raised the national debt to create more wealth for the rich.

But Obama's national debt rose during an economic crisis, which he helped America to get out off. This time with very low unemployment and good economic growth should be used to pay down the debt, yet under Trump's regime it has risen by hundreds of millions a year. Instead of erasing the debt (as he promised to the best of my recollection) he is growing the debt substantially.

He was hired to lead the country, not be the pope of the USA. He is not their religious leader, America is not sodom and gomorrah, that is just nonsense. The US is now finally living up to the land of the free rather than the land as free as the church or conservatives allowed.

So why did debt only increase under Obama? What economic growth resulted in paying back that debt?

Obama was also good at creating more welfare recipients if you want to have that debate too.

Reagan increased the national debt by 184%

HW Bush increased the national debt by 54%

Clinton increased the national debt by 36%

GW Bush increased the national debt by 93%

Obama increased the national debt by 78%

The 'mess' will be settled hopefully in congress and the courts. The Trump campaign clearly broke campaign finance disclosure laws and the only reason Trump hasn't been impeached already is that Republicans hold too many seats and are unwilling to call him to account. That they did it is indisputable; whether it's 'bad enough' to warrant serious punishment has sadly become a subjective matter, rather than a black and white legal one.

Duh, I am an atheist and I live in the Netherlands. But it is logical for a country to elect someone morally upstanding but why on earthy would they elect someone to lead a religion or promote a religion? He is president of all Americans, not just protestants, catholics, jews, muslims or atheists. As long as someone has a moral understanding and lives and governs in that manner, that is all someone should expect from a politician.

And I have eyes and ears and I read plenty about the US and it's news. Also, compared to the cheater and chief, the don of doing it to porn stars, the grabber of female private parts, the divorce dictator of the WH, Obama was super biblically inclined.

Yup, there was a time when conservatives could determine what 2 private adults do in their own bedroom, but as stated, that ship has sailed and thank goodness for that. And I will brag about being an atheist, in fact I am a third generation of atheist and proud of it. Also it is total BS to claim that only religious people have an objective moral compass. Total and utter nonsense to be honest.

Or he just does not want to push his personal faith on government business and people's rights and freedoms. You might think it is christian to oppress gays, lesbians and women, it is also unconstitutional according to many.

Obama is a person who but his office above his personal faith, and good for him.
