Kaci Sullivan, who transitioned to a man, gave birth last month to his second child. He had his first child when he was still a she.

After all the surgery, hormone treatment, and posing in front of a mirror to act more dude-like, Sullivan did the most womanly thing possible; she gave birth.

Who cares as long as his parent loves him and gives him a good home? Wanting to be a parent isnt gender-specific.

I have no idea if the child will be raised in a good home, but for his sake I sincerely hope so. That wasn't the point of the OP however.
 
ya every one knows he still has the old xx chromosome in most circumstances why should any one begrudge treating him as a man

Apparently he was born transgender...and modern medicine enabled his transition.

So he took advantage of the ability to get pregnant...why shouldnt he? Again, the desire to be a parent isnt gender-specific.

It certainly proved itself not a man. Don’t get me wrong. I’m fine with its having a kid. But it sort of disproves the hypothesis that the transformation was much more than an illusion

Sorry, but some posters here have complained of being unable to stick with a diet, and that image sure works as a great appetite suppressant.

Regardless of whether one is religious or not, our society is sure starting to look like Sodom and Gomorrah. It's no coincidence that we're splintered and probably close to unraveling.

Whatever. Given the fact that a child came from the womb, I suspect that "he" is chosen and she is still female.

You’ve no specific duty to him at all. I’m sure you’ve never met him and almost certainly never will, you’ve no need to read about him or even think about him in any way. You have literally zero duty to him at all.

I mean, most people would recognise a general moral responsibility not to be a dick but that applies in relation to anyone. :)
 
Poor guy/girl seems very confused to me...and even poorer...poor kids...
 
I'm pretty certain that everyone (especially someone transitioning) knows that we can't switch chromosomes around or transplant a working womb into a man (yet?)

Once you get past ick factor and accept that's it none of your business, you can proceed with doing whatever you want with your life.

I see no reason why this person couldn't be a good a parent. Consider what "normal" families are producing.
