This isn't a social issue, it's biological.
For the transgender person? Perhaps.
For society? No.

Transgender Man Gives Birth After Having a Child as a Woman | PEOPLE.com
Kaci Sullivan, who transitioned to a man, gave birth last month to his second child. He had his first child when he was still a she.
After all the surgery, hormone treatment, and posing in front of a mirror to act more dude-like, Sullivan did the most womanly thing possible; she gave birth.
This gentle readers, proves that there is no thing as 'transgender'. You are what you were born as, and now there's a boy baby in Wisconsin with a bearded mom/dad/person.
Why does freedom scare so many Righties?
Not at all the case. We know suicide rates in San Francisco...a community far more open and accepting of alternative lifestyles than other communities....are higher than other communities. Suicide is not a bi-product of the failure of others to adequately love you. It is the bi-product of people failing to love themselves. But that you would pretend that society with all its 'progress' isnt become more and more ****ed up....well...let me introduce you to a 7 year old girl by todays progressive societies standards...So those suicides and stressed out teens? That comes from societal lack of acceptance, from societal pressures, etc.
It is not caused by being transgender.
I do agree that more needs to be known and better diagnoses made.

I normally don't get into this kind of discussion, but back at Little Big Horn, one of Custer's native-American scouts - a Crow - was a cross-dresser. Apparently, among the native Americans, gender identity was not seen as a matter of controversy - people were just the way they were. This Crow scout survived the battle...but what really gets one's attention was this scout's name: Finds-Them-And-Kills-Them.
Gotta agree with Daniele Bolelli, the historian who described this on his podcast "History on Fire" - his three-part series "The War for the Black Hills" is still available for free in iTunes - that the name "Finds-Them-And-Kills-Them" is the most badass name ever...and it was a Crow warrior/scout cross-dresser who bore that name.
We're all about individual freedoms right now, and mass shootings and suicides have never been higher. Freedom is wonderful, but it becomes entitlement when taken too far.
Shouldn't we be more concerned about the development of the baby boy, and how all this is going to affect his life, rather than praising the transgender person who can't decide which gender he/she is?
Always the great question...nature vs nurture. However there are MANY instnces of people that are well loved and supported by families and friends...that still take their lives. You can be given all the external love you could stand...and if you dont love yourself it wont matter.Yes, SF is very tolerant...compared to the rest of the US. But the overall message...including on social media...is not the same.
But if you have any data on the difference and about the 'not loving themselves' I'm interested. But how do they determine if the reason you dont love yourself isnt something that's been affected by and part of your life (nurture and experience) since birth (social intolerance and hate)?
I don't think so, only if the infant signed the consent form. I thank my good fortunes to be born to parents who were not big on genital mutilation.
Maybe we can just hang the circumcisionists instead.

Has the LGBT community been committing mass shootings? Otherwise, what is that connection here?
Actually, yes, but they were Muslim men who were reportedly troubled about being gay.
The Orlando gay club shooter was supposedly gay, killed 49.
The Nice, France killer on Bastille Day was also gay, killed 84.
Gay serial killers have also been common.
"SUpposedly?' Let's see that verified.
Never heard of the French guy.
And which gay serial killers used guns to kill?
Both of those stories were huge, and widely reported on Lursa. Just Google them, they both took place in 2016.
??? What relevance is there to that?

Well, we can suggest he abort it.
I remember Orlando...dont remember anything about shooter being gay, so then I am dismissing that.
Dont know anything about the French incident.
Several people who knew Mateen have speculated that he might have been gay or bisexual. A male friend of his from 2006, when the two were in police academy together, said that Mateen went to gay clubs with him and that Mateen once expressed an interest in dating him. Club-goers also recalled Mateen dancing with another man.

Police examination of his phone revealed what Sky News described as a "string" of relationships with both men and women, including an affair with a 73-year-old man.

And re: gay serial killers, you brought them up after I asked what mass shootings were done by gays. So I asked about their gun use.
This isn't the place to start an abortion debate. Rather than killing unborn children who have the misfortune of being conceived by dysfunctional mothers, we should do more to figure out what biologically goes wrong for transgender people, and try to fix that.
Google can help you figure stuffs out.
They're only relevant if they killed with guns? Some did, some didn't. I don't see where your going with this however.
So...'possibly' in one instance and you were the one that introduced guns to the conversation, no one else.
I also brought up suicides, but you decided to focus on mass shootings and ignore the other part.
70+ posts in and theres still no facts that support the OP.
Fact remains there is still such a thing as transgender LMAO
I see no way to exclude 'nurture' and societal pressures from suicides.
