I am fully aware that it was used ironically, but it's a lot like Ajit Pai ironically doing the Harlem Shake in that video about things you can stil do without net neutrality, not too long ago - it's just an eyesore at this point, and has lost whatever comedic value it may have once had.

And just between you and me, I haven't seen a single instance of that word in months come from a Trump supporter, despite having seen at least it used at least a dozen times in that time span.

If it's so obviously dumb then why would anyone get "worked up" over folks being critical of it? Why not just say, "whoa, that is stupid" and move on after that?

Ask whoever is worked up about it. I'm certainly not, I didn't care enough about it to post it. There's plenty of things in the real word that bother me, this is not one of them.

Of course it's not, any more than some ad by the NRA would be something that would bother me. Frankly, in my experience, when someone says it's just not worth addressing or paying attention to, it's often because its said by someone or some entity that you (in the general sense, I have no doubt I do it too) don't want to be critical of, or maybe even want to deflect criticism/ridicule from. When it's from some entity you (or I or anyone) really dislike, it's always worth paying attention to. :mrgreen:

Whoever put the sign up needs to be very thankful that their life is so uneventful that they could come up with something so dumb to begin with. So much **** going on out their worth of their outrage. Can't see anyone here who has actually supported it.

Because, people like getting their knickers in a twist. Some people have to find a reason to get upset about SOMETHING. For example, some companies instruct their employees to say Happy Holidays, since not every one of their customers is Christian, and some people get all hyper and upset because it's not catering to THEIR religion.
