Having older brothers increases men's likelihood of being gay

Hmm. I thought this was already known?

It seems to me that doctors are always finding something. Is there anything conclusive. ?

Yes. Being gay is not a choice.

You are right! I was wrong. But so are you. I want you to know that last part. Because while it may be true that there is a DNA element to it, that does not mean that it's natural. Unless you mean that it's as natural as an illness. Because that's what it is. It is an illness. Not a blessing.

It's not really known why some people are homosexual. Its wildly accepted that they can't control it. This is widely supported with observable data. But it's theoretical not proven.

I would say the vast majority of my really good friends are queer in some way. In fact, we often joke about there being a "token straight" in the group whenever a straight person is with is. Point being, my being queer has lead me to a beautiful community of people, and the best friends I've ever had in my life. Ride or die for people. I would most definitely count them as a blessing.

When I was at Michigan State one of my best Co-op housing friends was a lesbian feminist, her mate was a radical lesbian feminist 1983-1985, they hung around radical lesbian feminists....well I was very progressive back then and they tended to like me and tended to drag me along as the token straight guy....

Ya....Really....

It was a rush shall we say.

I think I know what you are trying to say.

By illness you mean mental illness since there isn't a homosexual virus.

It would only be a mental illness if it causes suffering or failure to operate in normal life. I imagine for some it does which is why we have things like ex gays. But for others it doesn't.

As to natural or unnatural such classifications to me are irrelevant.

That response sounds very honest. Thanks

It is not an illness, it's called sexuality.

Since what make a blessing is subjective, along with the knowledge that things we have called illnesses in the past, such as left handedness, have been determined not to be so, you really don't have much of an argument here.

Interesting new info that supports a long-held observation.

Having older brothers tied to being gay, if you're a guy - CNN

Confirmation bias and ad hoc hypothese.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hoc_hypothesis

In science and philosophy, an ad hoc hypothesis is a hypothesis added to a theory in order to save it from being falsified. Often, ad hoc hypothesizing is employed to compensate for anomalies not anticipated by the theory in its unmodified form.

Scientists are often skeptical of theories that rely on frequent, unsupported adjustments to sustain them. This is because, if a theorist so chooses, there is no limit to the number of ad hoc hypotheses that they could add. Thus the theory becomes more and more complex, but is never falsified. This is often at a cost to the theory's predictive power, however.[1] Ad hoc hypotheses are often characteristic of pseudoscientific subjects.

The underlying hypothesis that can never be falsified by modern day liars is this: homosexuals are born that way.

You can use statistics to prove whatever you want.

Circa year 2010 epigenetics began replacing the old genetic determinism which itself was born from the older biological determinism. And liberals in the USA and Germany once loved to use biological determinism to explain why "Jews love money" and why blacks had lower IQs and why impoverished white women give birth to criminals.

At the end of the day this homosexual man enjoying his erected penis in his "husband's" vagina, ejaculating in his husband's vagina, just indicates sexual attractions in physical appearances are superficial and no more "deep" than the 60 year-old heterosexual man that really finds himself sexually attracted to 20ish year-old women.

Transgender man shares his joy after giving birth to a baby son with his gay husband after suffering a devastating miscarriage last year

The homosexual man that poped a hardon for his "husband" and impregnated her by having an orgasm and ejaculating in "his" vagina. The supposedly impossible according to the dumb a__ ad hoc hypothese while seeking to prevent the underlying proposition from being falsified: homosexuals are born that way.

I was not born heterosexual nor born sexually attracted to pre-op (meaning they still have penis and testicles) transexuals that re sexy as hell like Sheylla Wandergirlt and Kissy Bittencour. I became those things.

I hadn't heard of this. Having two older brothers myselth, I think this is suth bullsh*th.

Two things..
1) 'more likely' does not mean 'positive'.
2) I always wondered why you typed with a lisp
