Men have just as much a need to be taken seriously instead of being objectified as women do.
Men are objectified. That is true and observable irrespective of the Dear Leaders in the Democratic and Republican Parties having failed to make a pronouncement on it.

Men are financially objectified by women. That might date back to antiquity.

One can observe this is current times if they have eyes and ears and willing to use both rather than waiting on their Dear Leaders to issue some pontification on the existence or lack of of a thing.

But I think women would complain if they did not get any sexual attraction attention at all. Actually, I know that many women do complain about this even if indirectly. Or what the hell does one think the whole "lets program boys to view all girls and women as equally attractive" was born from in these things like "she's a beautiful big black woman" (meaning obese woman)?

So, Dear Leaders in the USA have proclaimed from their high towers that boys and men are not judged on their looks.

Why the hell do men expend so much caloric energy and mental allocation to looking better physically then?

Oh! But wait! Cries the Dear Leaders... it is a universal truism they say that men don't have to look good to get ahead in business and politics or entertainment but women do have to be super hot looking. Really Dear Leaders? Is your "truism" merely false pontification or do you all have a very low bar for "hot looking women." Maybe that's why you all rocketed Hillary Clinton to political stardom.

I don't find Ellen "hot looking." She is "cool" and has likable personality but I don't think of her as "hot" like a J-Lo.

My stare is not creepy. I don't show me stare to be anything but a glance. But all men stare.

You don't get to decide that, the person you are staring at does.

All men look, all men do not stare. If yours is merely a glace than you're not staring. Please don't bother me if the disagreement is mere semantics. Staring is creepy, even a desirable glance can turn creepy if it goes too long. Also, staring means you're not doing, hesitation is not attractive either.

Either say hello or move on, but don't just gawk.

Unusual outlook to say men are financially objectified by women when history shows that man has put women into a position of financial dependency on men. Then when women break from this traditional role they face discrimination in pay because they are a woman.

Anothe weird outlook by you that women are trying to make all women attractive to men rather than just protest the continuation of a stereotype image of women that is not even close to what most women actually look like continue.

You're mistaken if you think to blame a trend on women wanting to look feminine or men masculine on being some sort of contradiction to these claims of equality. Possibly like many you confuse equality with being equal.

I assume you're american by your lavish worship of your leaders opinions. Another contradiction that americans want to be seen as free thinkers but wait upon their "dear leaders" to show them the way. Your leaders do not make proclimations for you to follow. They listen to what the people are saying and try to deliver on that message.

I guess the problem is you dont want to talk to them. If they are staring you could obviously say "Hello" or "Please stop staring at me". But you dont even want to talk to this person or confront them to let them know about your anxiety. Thats kinda pompous.
