Well No that's technically just nature. A gay person reproducing with a person of the opposite sex isn't really any different than any other man and woman reproducing. So good point.

Creating more ways to reproduce when we already have a means to reproduce is not improving on nature, sorry.

The role of gays is to help raise children, not to produce children of their own.
 
A man and woman can get the marriage contract but that doesn't a marriage make.
A man and woman can have children which makes them blood kin but it doesn't make a family.

Both marriage and family are made by way more deep and abiding nuances than contracts and biological processes.
