Gonorrhea is becoming 'smarter' and harder to treat - CNN.com

[h=1]This STD is becoming 'smarter' and harder to treat[/h]

(CNN)Gonorrhea is becoming harder and in some cases impossible to treat with antibiotics, the World Health Organization said."The bacteria that cause gonorrhea are particularly smart. Every time we use a new class of antibiotics to treat the infection, the bacteria evolve to resist them," said Teodora Wi, a human reproduction specialist at the WHO, in a news release.

Wrap it up people.

Wrap it up.

It's always a good time to be monogamous.

There's a pretty strong contingent of pro-poly morons in your age group--well maybe a little older, like 20-somethings. I've run across several over the years who swear polyamorous relationships are the bomb. My first thought: so instead of having to wonder who one partner may have slept with yesterday or last year, you now have to worry about what 3 or 4 partners are up to or did back in the day. Nuts.

wrap wrap wrap wrap wrap wrap it up ..........

I don't get that, honestly. That just doesn't appeal to me at all. I'll stick with just one girlfriend, thank you; I don't need 8.

Trying to hold together a relationship with just one person is hard enough. I believe juggling a half dozen would drive me crazy.

But God ... Religion :lamo

actually give the dangers of being sexually immoral. amazing how those are turning out to be
true.

Why don't we focus on the bigger problem of idiots not taking all their antibiotics?

Yeah but think about how many household chores you could divide up. 9 people is a veritable workforce, you could build your own house if you had 8 girlfriends. And all the furniture. Not to mention the financial benefits of pooling 9 incomes together. It would be like having your own investment firm.

And think of Christmas, you'll get way more presents.

I can think of several reasons to have 8 girlfriends. The most obvious of which is the fact, undeniable fact, that someone will want to make your home life into a reality show.

they already have a super bug of that.
it is immune to anti-biotics at this point. it is spreading all over England like wildfire.

it isn't even about wrapping it up.
choosing who you sleep with is important.

the hook up culture is spreading STD's at an alarming rate.

Boomers are the hook up culture now? *shudder* Old folks homes are a cesspool of vd. And the old folks today aren't wrapping it up. Women outnumber the men 10 to 1 after a certain age, and they've been sharing the men. None of them can get pregnant, so they never worry about condoms.

The biggest problem we have with stds today, is in our geriatric population.

I can see it now. "Me and My 8 Girlfriends" coming soon on TLC. :2razz:

Choosing the architecture of your home is really difficult even if you're only 2. But 9 ? Does not compute.
