Women only become lesbians cause men like it

Honestly, I don't get the point of this article. I and most people, have known this before. This is like making an article about basic math equations. There's very little argument about this self-evidence fact

Given that lesbianism is female specific homosexuality, the theory is instantly debunked. Now if the theory is either that women will engage in homosexual activities or that they turned to bisexuality because of how men enjoy the same sex interactions of women, then we have something. But since lesbians are only attracted to other women and not men (as opposed to bisexuals), I don't see how the enjoyment of men watching same sex female encounters would develop into women wanting other women only and not men.

Edit:Also, given this article, how do you explain the same sex attraction of men, when only 7.8% of women were turned on by male same sex interaction?

Maybe in the beginning there were no lesbians, then once man discovered that girl on girl **** is hot, some women ended up evolving too far on the other end of the spectrum

But the article provides no historical evidence as to why such would exist. It relies purely on modern views and thoughts.

If someone read the article, it was actually criticizing the conclusion of this 'study', and was saying that it was not well thought out and biased. I don't think whateverdude actually read the article.
 
This researcher seems to start from the observation that when a woman who is in an established relationship with a man cheats with another woman, rather than a man, she cannot be impregnated by the person she cheats with. If I understand him right--not easy to do when there is only someone's account of the research to go by--that fact provides one reason men tend to favor women who experience some homosexual attraction. This preference is then expressed in the fact a substantial percentage of men are sexually aroused by women whose desire for other women leads them to have homosexual sex.

I don't know what to think of all this. The researcher does not seem to be claiming that without experiencing homosexual attraction, some women decide to engage in homosexual acts just because they think it will excite men. It sounds more like he is saying that the capacity of women to experience homosexual attraction is something which has been favored by evolution.

If so, I must be the odd man out. I have had women I hadn't known long, out of the blue, either give me an account of a lesbian experience or express a desire to have one, with me included. I can't deny being excited each time by hearing this. But it also made me wish, in a way, that I'd never known about it, because it made it hard to see myself in a serious relationship with them.

I don't disagree with your statement. I have a sister who turned to lesbianism after being raped. However your statement doesn't address the point which is to counter the claim that men turn to lesbianism for the sake of men, i.e. because it pleases them. This is rather the direct opposite of turning to lesbianism to escape the cruelty of men.
