Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female inde

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female independence

Great analysis by Meghan Murphy.

Sex dolls give men an out to learn not to respect women and continue to have sex that they don't have to work for.

Let me see if I got this. Sometimes men just wanna get off and not have to deal with anything else. So they make a product to facilitate that and that's bad so they have to go to women to get off and somehow that's better?

Yeah, that totally makes sense. I totally see how an act that doesn't involve a women at all is somehow an attack on women.

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

Hey maybe you haven't heard, but women rarely have to pay for sex. And guess what? They ,for that rarity to happen, have be so hideous that a paper bag and beer goggles fail to work. All most women have to do to get laid is go to the nearest hook up spot and say "Take me, take me now." and they would have a line. They don't even have to buy drinks or dinner or flowers. Ha. Woman don't have any power, my hairy pink pimply butt. Men are like dogs, they will hump your leg if given half a chance. Women use that against men all the time. My SO goes "You dog." all the time. And I go "Woof, woof." Then she makes me beg. Sadistic I tell you. I love it.

Exactly. Why pay for a product that you can either get for free or actually get paid for?

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

I never said they were but to deny that women have the keys to sex is not being honest.

I deny it. It depends on the kind of woman you get. Just specify from the get-go that "I do" means "you will". If she doesn't agree to it: NEXT!

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

Not really. Finding a real women is difficult.
More than that is attempting to keep a relationship going.

His is easy. No restriction no demands no drama or anything.

If just getting off is all they are interested in then it works perfectly.

Someone who is interested in just getting off isn't really interested in relationships.

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

It's the same for men, either way it's a question of how low one's standards will go that evening. Anyway, the point is that people don't so much pay for sex as pay to walk away. I would imagine women would engage in more walk away sex, paid or otherwise, if it were as socially acceptable as it is for men.

Even a dog with a pink hairy pimple butt can drop standards low enough to guarantee success. So, chin up.

What would they need social acceptance for? Are they having sex in public? They're a lot of things people do that they won't talk about because they won't be accepted but they still do them.

I'm sorry social acceptance isn't a barrier.

Besides women can get walk away sex anytime they want there are loads of men eager to hit it and quit it.

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

If women were a power equal, or thereabouts, and the number of male prostitutes was near equal, it wouldn't be sexist. Currently, it's a sure way to destroy a reputation and it's almost exclusively women. Prostitution is sexist as a tool of a power majority maintaining the status quo (with money and control of reputation), but not inherently.

I'm guessing if it was socially acceptable for women to pay for sex more would.

They do have options. There are plenty of male prostitutes. But most of them have to cater to male clients for it to be worth the time. Women don't want that kind of sex and if they did they could get it without spending a penny.

Getting pissy over men being allowed to have what we want, because as we all know that is not how sex is supposed to go, the women must be in charge.....in order to protect them from victimization. "MEN SUCK!" of course. That's the story we get sold by the feminists.

As a 'progressive' I despair of these kinds of articles that appear to only serve to put an easy target on the back of feminism.

Do they read back what they wrote or has women's politics just become a shock and awe tool for media wannabes?

The second part. Women are a majority of the population and have equal voting rights.

i think you mean vibrator...more men use dildo

Dildo, vibrator...doesn't really matter to me. I don't use them, so the terminology is irrelevant. The point remains valid. Lol

You really don't get it, do you? It's generally socially acceptable for a man to pay for sex. They aren't thrown out of jobs, clubs or groups of friends as a result. It is not generally socially acceptable for women to pay for sex. Upon revelation, they will and do suffer repercussions.

I'm sorry social acceptance isn't a barrier.

I'm sorry this aspect of sociology is beyond your grasp.

Besides women can get walk away sex anytime they want there are loads of men eager to hit it and quit it.

Oh please. Anyone can have sex for free anytime. Walking away is never certainty without payment.

Women don't want that kind of sex and if they did they could get it without spending a penny.

First of all, I don't think you speak for women.

Second, you still don't seem to grasp the concept of 'walk-away sex'. Anyone can get free sex (men or women) anytime, it's just a matter of standards falling until it happens. But that sex comes with expectations from one's partner, no matter how much one explains it's just a casual one night deal. The only way to completely avoid one's partner from having future expectations is to pay for it. While I haven't tried such, I was surprised when this understanding finally dawned on me.

Oh, men are the minority so what are you talking about?

The issue is social dynamics, not population demographics. The majority in question is power not population. How many times must someone explain this to you before you understand?

When people stop inventing their own definitions I will stop pointing it out, like your false definition of racism, for example.

No one is inventing definitions. When women are referred to as a minority, it's a power minority not population minority.

Everyone has 1 vote, per person. There are more women than men. Women have more power to effect policies they want via the ballot box.

Idiocy.

1. Males have the power.
2. We don't vote for executive positions in business.

Women are a minority. If you can't understand that, it's your problem.

It isn't necessary for women to pay for sex. Men will likely do it for free.
I'm sorry this aspect of sociology is beyond your grasp.
There is no need to make this personal. It isn't beyond my grasp it's that this isn't the 1960s.

Incorrect. Women have the universal ability to walk away. Men can't say they are pregnant.
First of all, I don't think you speak for women.
I'm willing to bet its easily 75% that don't want that kind of sex.

A woman has the infinite ability to walk away. She can't get a man or even another woman pregnant.

The only way to completely avoid one's partner from having future expectations is to pay for it. While I haven't tried such, I was surprised when this understanding finally dawned on me.
Women can get walk away sex at any moment for free.

Power is taken, not given.

Neither need pay. It's a matter of standards dropping low enough to ensure success - for everyone.

There is no need to make this personal. It isn't beyond my grasp it's that this isn't the 1960s.

1. No one claimed it's the 60s.
2. It not being the 60s does not mean women are treated equally.

Incorrect. Women have the universal ability to walk away. Men can't say they are pregnant.

Everyone has the "universal ability to walk away". The question is the ease and guarantee of such, which can only be found with absolute certainly via payment.

I'm willing to bet its easily 75% that don't want that kind of sex.

Where did you study anthropology, or is this just a blind guess?

A woman has the infinite ability to walk away. She can't get a man or even another woman pregnant.

The question is not the ability, it's the ease and certainty.

Women can get walk away sex at any moment for free.

So can men, one just needs to lower standards far enough.

Platitudes do not change the fact that women are minorities.

Numerically they are not and it's 1 person 1 vote. Votes = power. Women have more power at the ballot box.

No one claims they are a population minority. Everyone knows women are more than 50%. Stop acting like that's some kind of revelation. It's a stupid deflection from the issue.

"More power at the ballot box" does not, or at least has not, resulted in gender equality.

Women are a minority. Deal with it.

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

Women have more power at the ballot box.

Women have power to censor information about discrimination against men from Mainstream Media. But that power in undermined by the fact that 40% of our media consumption is online and 20% is on Social Media. Thus more and more men realize that they are not powerful oppressors.

#Notallwomen -- women who raise awareness of discrimination men face are heroes of our time!

Ladies don't have to drop as low.
1. No one claimed it's the 60s.
2. It not being the 60s does not mean women are treated equally.
1.Okay, reality isn't a magical place where women aren't equal.
2.Correct, women being treated equally means they are treated equally.
Everyone has the "universal ability to walk away".
No men do not. A woman can claim to be pregnant or actually be pregnant, a man cannot walk away without the woman first allowing him to.
The question is the ease and guarantee of such, which can only be found with absolute certainly via payment.
Payment isn't necessary. And women have the infinite ability to walk away because they can't get men pregnant.
Where did you study anthropology, or is this just a blind guess?
I wouldn't have to study anthropology to understand that. If women wanted to pay for sex they would.

It's always a personal thing with you. Is your argument really that weak?
The question is not the ability, it's the ease and certainty.
Women have infinitely more ease and certainty to walk away. They still can't get a man pregnant.
So can men, one just needs to lower standards far enough.
Not as easily.
