I don't know, for long married couples, whose to say women wouldn't WELCOME sex bots. No disease, they know their husband isn't going to run off and elope...what's not to love? I mean, any-time 3-some to boot. Plus women would have just as many, they would just be more discreet as is the case today.

I agree, that's really the sci-fi spoiler of our time. Meaning, nearly everything we dream of, cities in the sky, super powers, sex dolls (to keep it on topic?), are far cheaper to solve virtually. Brick and mortar extravagance will seem old and wasteful at some point I suspect.

As a 'progressive' I despair of these kinds of articles that appear to only serve to put an easy target on the back of feminism.

Do they read back what they wrote or has women's politics just become a shock and awe tool for media wannabes?

What really needs to happen is women need to start fighting back against more radical feminism. The market for sex robots would disappear overnight if men weren't worried they would get label a rapist. Or if they stopped being told that their sexuality is toxic.

I feel for straight men. Just looking at a woman is considered harassment. Approaching them is considered harassment. Feminism is solely responsible for making that the case.

So if merely talking to a woman or looking at her is harassment then they're not going to pursue them.

Sex robots fill a need.

Some women are threatened by these things because once they're readily available and fairly realistic, those women will have a lot harder time holding sex over men's heads as a reward, and withholding it as punishment.

I have to agree with this. As it stands women have the purse string on sex.
Unless you are going to risk sex with a hooker then it really is a one sided
Situation.

When this fully breaks open that power will shift.
This will give a lot of guys a lot of freedom.

They don't have to worry about crazy,pregnancy etc.

It isn't such guys. Women have had a huge market on sex toys.
Women can buy pretty much any kind of toy they want.

Getting a real women for a guy is hard work. Unless you are going with a hooker.
It takes a lot of investment to get a women into bed.

A women has it much easier.
They simply have to walk up to a guy and say let's go.
Done.

Although women have a skewed view of sex sometimes.

It isn't a means of control or it isn't supposed to be.

Yet that is how women treat it.

Yeah it seems that guys have it rough. The guy will pretty much do just about anything for sex. So if she starts becoming manipulated or frozen out he's going to go find it somewhere else.

When all a woman really has to do to get it guy to do what what she wants, say something like, " a man that cleans the house is really sexy" than he'll want to do it.

But there is a problem with men too. A lot of them place their self worth in how much sex they can have. And someone like that it's extremely easy to manipulate.

100% agree.

Women wives more than likely could motivate their guys more with a little pumping of the bellows.
Got hot in bed and 9/10 times your guy will go to the end of the world for you because it makes you happy.

Some women just don't seem to get it that well.
They think manipulating and controlling is he way and it isn't.

Not really. Finding a real women is difficult.
More than that is attempting to keep a relationship going.

His is easy. No restriction no demands no drama or anything.

If just getting off is all they are interested in then it works perfectly.
