Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female inde

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

Attitudes like these are the reason women are still second-class citizens in our society.

If women were a power equal, or thereabouts, and the number of male prostitutes was near equal, it wouldn't be sexist. Currently, it's a sure way to destroy a reputation and it's almost exclusively women. Prostitution is sexist as a tool of a power majority maintaining the status quo (with money and control of reputation), but not inherently.

I'm guessing if it was socially acceptable for women to pay for sex more would.

Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female independence

Great analysis by Meghan Murphy.

Sex dolls give men an out to learn not to respect women and continue to have sex that they don't have to work for.

In about five lines she's talking about Hellman's sexual appetites are perverse. So I can assume the writer is a lesbian.

What does she care?

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

If you have to tell people women call you a "hunk" then something in my gut says you're full of it.

Namely because it's the year 2017, and the women I know who call someone a hunk they use it ironically.

I don't know. Some people do a lot of body building in order to mask some insecurities. They also like to talk about it if every chance kind of like some vegans.

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

I think it might be lost on the author of this article that "sex robot" is any mechanized sexual toy. Like a vibrator, or any number of sexual toys women enjoy every day. Where as men don't have quite the selection of sex toys to choose from which is odd.

Idk, women like sex, men like sex, but sex with a partner isn't always on the table. I don't see the harm in toys or aids for either. Heck, could be a boon for couples been married over a decade.

The more I hear about feminists fussing about this the more I grew suspicious that they're really just worried that they will lose the ability to control men by offering more denying sex.

There is already MGTOW. I'm willing to bet feminists don't like that.

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

I wasn't planning on having sex with a guy anyways, so it ain't a problem with me. Oh, and that article is chuck-full of ridiculous nonsense. Kinda like every other article you decide to make a thread about.

Just more POEishness like always, AA.

Governess, sexism isn't just dinosaurs who don't want women to work or have birth control. There's layers to it. Just like with racism, there's subtleties too many aspects of it. The most toxic ones are the ones that are not obvious. You, as a woman, should be more wary of these things.

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

Welcome to globalization bitches.
Look Darwin, are you really a progressive? PROGRESS, operative word.

Women don't need men's dicks to have babies and raise a family, and we don't need women to have mediocre sex with a lifeless cold hunk of latex. Let's call it a draw. Or let's call it, I don't know, progress.

*you can tell I watched R rated standup all morning, the vulgarity is just creeping in!*

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

I don't understand the complaint of the author or the OP. There are far more sex toys for women than men.
They make tons of sex robots for women.

Everything from rocking chairs to Sybians.

They even have chairs connected to the internet that allow remote users to control it.
They have love sense toys that do the same thing with an app.

Next year there is to be a sex doll released cost 12000 pounds.
Pre-orders are already wracking up.

Same went for another virtual device that simulates the same thing.
To the point they had to stop so they could increase manfacturing.

Where is your complaint of all the sex toys for women.
In fact they are predicting male sex robots toys for women will double that of men by 2025.

Yeah, this. Women whip out a 10 inch monster dong that vibrates, rotates, and buzzes, and is remote control operated....and we're worried about a prohibitively expensive sex doll?

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

Wow, reading AtlantaAdonis really makes me miss that tomato guy - if we're gonna have a joke character posting, at least they should be funny.

Oh, wait, am I supposed to pretend there's a topic here other than the affected ego of the OP? Hrm. Okay.

Feminists complaining about nonsense, news at 11. Where someone else wants to put their genitals (provided that if it involves other humans, said other humans are able to give consent and have done so) is their business.

I think the better market will be VR systems. They have them now sort of but are getting better.
It is a program that has a device. The device moves with the program simulation.

While not as interactive as a doll the cost is way less for the average guy.
Of course this all depends on the guy.

Most married guys will have issues getting one of those past the wife.

What I see is something out of a futuristic movie.
You have parlors set up with dolls. Charge by the time.

Guys or gals come in do their thing and leave.

Everything is sanitary no risk of disease or getting someone pregnant.

Or, just take matters into your own "hands."

Ah yes Rosy Palm and her five Sisters.

Hey maybe you haven't heard, but women rarely have to pay for sex. And guess what? They ,for that rarity to happen, have be so hideous that a paper bag and beer goggles fail to work. All most women have to do to get laid is go to the nearest hook up spot and say "Take me, take me now." and they would have a line. They don't even have to buy drinks or dinner or flowers. Ha. Woman don't have any power, my hairy pink pimply butt. Men are like dogs, they will hump your leg if given half a chance. Women use that against men all the time. My SO goes "You dog." all the time. And I go "Woof, woof." Then she makes me beg. Sadistic I tell you. I love it.

Re: Sex robots epitomize patriarchy and offer men a solution to the threat of female

I couldn't get more than half way through this sanctimonious piece of crap. She actually states men invented sex dolls so they have a substitute for rape. If confronted with a doll or the prospect of having to listen to Meghan, I'd choose the doll. Somehow she believes it's ok for women to find independence from men, but reversal is a threat to her weak sense of self. Sad.

There you go.

It's the same for men, either way it's a question of how low one's standards will go that evening. Anyway, the point is that people don't so much pay for sex as pay to walk away. I would imagine women would engage in more walk away sex, paid or otherwise, if it were as socially acceptable as it is for men.

Even a dog with a pink hairy pimple butt can drop standards low enough to guarantee success. So, chin up.

Dumb premise. AI's complications involve human relationships as a whole. This impacts men, women, and all relationships.

Hell, Meghan Murphy may want to take a look at the Japanese romance culture of the relatively young. Men and women are selling all aspects of companionship, including cuddling, socializing, and sex; while having distinctly less romantic relationships than their parents' generation.

Much cheaper to take a hot chick to dinner and/or a movie or just use the anterior appendages.

Masturbation tends to be even cheaper.

No, it just keeps prostitution going.

Whatever. My wife is fine for me. I'd rather have a newer vette than one of those things.

But, I guess the mgtow are going to need to start saving.

Just wait till the sex robot says, "I can't do that, Dave."
