Why in the hell would a 16yo boy tell the police he was having sex with a 23yo teacher? I could see his parents finding out and telling the police, but him?
 
I always have problems with these cases. On one hand I wouldnt have a moral problem with the age of consent being 16. But the teacher/student dynamic really muddies the waters. It is way too easy for a teacher to seduce a student. We are required by law to send our kids to school. It shouldn't be a place for the employees to find people to bang.

I don't think she should go to jail but she should definitely be fired. And I would feel the same if the genders were switched.

There have been dozens and dozens of female teachers caught having sex with underage students over the last several years.

I think it really shows that teachers in their 20s should not be teaching high school

Damn, were these teachers when I was going to school?? I wouldn't have said a bloody word. Ohhh, wait that's happened no one opened their mouths.

This kid told the police he was shagging his teacher??? Enquiring minds want to know why the bloody hell would he do that?
