How is getting your dick inverted somehow less bizarre than this? I mean, it's bizarre and pretty stupid, but honestly there is no way I see this as more bizarre than desiring to be castrated and have your junk turned into something that looks like a vagina.

This reminds me of something an ex-girlfriend used: pads that are supposed to remove microscopic from inside the pores of one's nose. Neither she nor I were ever aware of these things until she saw an ad for it, I guess. After seeing the ad she "knew" she needed to get rid of it. Point being, if someone points out out a "fault" (wrinkly nutsack), now you're going to want to "fix" it. First thing about creating a cure: create a demand.

It's not a vagina. Regardless, that wasn't my point. My point is that desiring to have your nuts cut off is a way more bizarre then thinking botox will make your nuts look better.

And do you think cutting of your nuts is good for you? Do you think cutting off most of your hormones is actually something desirable for the body?

Also, your link and you mentioned that the surgery done for MTF is less bizzare, so I can talk about it if I keep my comments in that frame of reference.

Of course other things are more bizarre and I didn't say there wasn't. What I said is that the articles comment that this is more bizarre than cutting off your nuts because you want a vagina is completely bogus.

Yup. And the plastic surgery industry is amazing at it. They've invented all sorts of disorder-y sounding names for normal human presentations, such as breasts that have a noticeable bottom crease (virtually every fully adult woman with a B cup or more has these), or eyelids that crease near the lash line (most Asians have this, called monolids, and many other people of various races have a less prominent but similar trait, called hooded eyes).

I can't recall what they are, but they sure make it sound "medical-y." And of course it's something you have to "fix."

Of course, the personal care industry is also good at this. As far your girlfriend's nose thingies, if they're supposed to remove sebum, I doubt that's fully possible. If it were, it would probably be terrible for your skin. Having a bit of sebum in the interior pore protects your skin from weather conditions and bacteria (yes, it's naturally anti-bacterial). Sometimes, acne is actually the result of over-scrubbing and messing with the bacteria-fighting ability of your skin. Obviously you don't want too much of it to build up, thus bathing. But trying to dig it out of your pores would be quite bad for you.

Regarding the OP, this seems like the male equivalent of labia reduction. Something that's just completely unnecessary and I'd imagine doesn't have a good impact on health, nor is it something I'd imagine anyone's partner cares about. I can't say I've ever thought to myself, "geez, if only this nutsack didn't look so much like a nutsack, my partner would be so much more attractive."

You posted a comment pretty explicitly attacking trans persons, in a thread that has nothing at all to do with Transsexuality, but does happen to have been started by a board member most well known for being Trans themselves.

Yeah... I'm sorry, but a man doesn't exactly have to be Sherlock Holmes to deduce the probable intent behind that. Frankly, even if I - personally - happen to agree with most of the sentiment behind the post, the timing, and the tone used, aren't really appropriate in this context.

If the OP has a problem with me personally we can talk. I'm not hard to find. Ive got nothing but love for Renae. I dont give half a **** against individuals and their personal choices (yes, even ones I disagree with) and hope for their happiness. Their life..their choice.

This thread reminds me of a long piece that read a couple years back about mostly young women who claimed to be traumatized because their ***** lips were "too big". They spent a lot of money and pain to "fix" them.

I would have made my comment regardless of who posted that article. The fact is the article said that SRS was less bizarre than this and frankly I find that claim to be stupid as hell.

As for the OP, they pretty much have shown repeatedly and even in their sig that they love people to focus on them.

For those of you who don't know. Henrin has had this explained to him over an over. He is wrong and doesn't know what he is talking about. SRS is a completely acceptable way to treat GDD. Henrin doesn't understand medical ethics, doesn't understand or accept the positive outcomes for SRS and doesn't comprehend the treatment of transsexuality and GDD. All Henrin does is present his biased and uneducated agenda, an agenda that is not accepted by anyone who is knoweledgeable in this area, anyone who does research in this area, or an governing body that addresses this area. Henrin's non-acceptance of all of these things is based on his own ignorance and bias around this issue. Nothing else. Henrin's position and points have been defeated, refuted, and humiliated over and over. He enjoys reposting them. I enjoy destroying them. This is just information for anyone who has not seen him post on this topic before.

I shrugged at your post. I have no expectations of people accepting Transgender, I only hope to make people see we're dangerous freaks and be at the least courteous to us. That's all I ask

I have no control over how someone takes my words, before or even after they know intent. Transgender has been a 'thing' since at least the 60s. It's only gotten truly 'crazy' the last few years. Unfortunately we as a society as it turns out decided to up and lose our mind regarding people, choices,normal, and the **** we do to ourselves. The real answer to all of this is the same today as it was in the 60s. Learn to love yourself for who you are. That will make learning to love yourself for who you want to be a lot easier.
