Sex Perverts Love Little Kids in Bathrooms - Nope, It's Not So Rare

No one is saying that pedophilia does not exist. But the idea of a transgendered bathroom law attracting hordes of pedophiles is just more hysteria. If you truly fear such a thing, then do like most parents do when accompanied by preteen kids, either go inside with them, or stand outside to prevent anyone from going in who should not be in there when the child is alone.

I am not familiar with, nor can I find, any references to pedophilia amongst transgenders. Children are at far greater risk in any given church, mosque or temple than a multi-gender bathroom.

Golly. The bar gets set higher and higher, doesn't it? When I first came around, the cry from the usual suspects was that any sex crime in the ladies loo was a rarity - so much so that our fears were totally irrational. lol. So I posted some links with a bunch of men perving, assaulting, attacking women in the john. Somehow that wasn't good enough.

So I started starting threads on it. After all, just the stories that even make the news show up every week. Still rare, they claim. And anyway something something something. One instance is too much for me is all I can say. As always, I understand YMMV.

kids went to the washroom all the time alone...were we safe? :shrug: probably not any more so, OR less so, in today's world we are just more aware, more fearful, the kids are way less resilient and less capable of self care...

and that is a big problem that needs to be addressed...kids have always gone missing, always been attacked

we trust our kids less is that a good thing?

Just because there was less fear doesn't mean there were fewer attacks. If (when!) the kind of incident reported here happened in decades past, it wouldn't be reported in any news media.

What is this "True pedophile" business? Being a pedophile is akin to being slightly dead or slightly pregnant you either are you aren't.

If there were no men in those bathrooms, then the likelihood of sexual crimes against women and children therein would approach zero, don't you agree? Talk about the many being held hostage by the few!

He mean, as best I can tell, those who are accused of being a pedophile, while not actually doing anything. He's referring to how gays and trans are improperly linked to pedophila despite no logic or evidence to support such linkage.

You don't need to fix my posts. You ought to check into the abuse of boys by men in public facilities yourself. As far as I can tell, there aren't that many posters around here to speak up for them, any more than they can be bothered to do so about the safety of women and girls.

However, if you'd like, I can start posting material on This Week In Men in the Men's Room. I'm always happy to oblige. Of one thing we may be sure - despite the protestations of you and the rest of the usual suspects here - the news items about men behaving badly in the restroom just never stops. Ever.

The religious have long tried to tie pedophilia to homosexuality and now I suppose being transgender. This despite the fact fewer than .01% of gays are also pedophiles while the balance of the percentage are almost exclusively, white, married, religious males and there are no stats at all on Transgenders and pedophilia.

Interesting. I have not seen that distinction before. But, the fact remains that regardless of the popular view of pedophiles (as explained above), the facts are still true. Anyone who abuses a prepubescent child is a pedophile. One cannot but wonder if those who make this distinction are somehow being apologists? Thanks for the info.

You're welcome for the info; but how you consider clearing up a definition as somehow defending or apologizing for pedophilia escapes me.

Pedophiles suffer from a (currently untreatable) mental disorder, as pointed out in my response.

Anyone who has any familiarity with my posts on this issue in other threads would know that I believe convicted pedophiles should be committed to a state criminal psychiatric facility until released by a unanimous vote of a panel of psychiatrists as no longer a threat to public safety. My original point was that there aren't all that many statistically in a society. Recognizing that they do exist means taking exactly the types of precautions I mentioned in the first post you quoted of me.

That does not negate the original point. Allowing transsexuals to use restrooms, saunas, locker rooms, etc., is not going to make it easier for sexual assaults any more than lesbian women in women's facilities or gay men in male facilities do now.

Lesbians are irrelevant to this entire discussion, whether you are including transwomen or all men. Why? Because actual lesbians are actual women. And actual women do not commit sex crimes upon women unknown to them in public bathrooms, showers and locker rooms. It's teh men. How hard is this concept to get.
