Fergie - MILF $ - NSFW

About the only message I saw in it is that women are hotter if they have a lot of money.

Yeah, it was pretty shallow message.

What makes her smart?

I can't say for sure since I don't personally know her or her story but to make it where she has in an industry thay typcially doesn't see successful women, I'd say she had something going on to get where she has.

What makes her smart?
Smart enough to make it? If not that, smart enough to not squander it?

There are many athletes who make MORE money and still end up filing for bankruptcy, because they're financial idiots with no self-control.

Ladies, what are your thoughts on this video?

Degrading?
Empowering?
Funny?
Entertaining?
Art?
Trash?
Borderline porn?

Something else?

If men shouldn't be looking at women as sex objects, what's this video do in that regard?

2016 is officially the dumbest year on record.

Yeah a mouth and a vagina and absolutely no scruples. That isn't an indicator of intellect.

Makes what?

A catatonic person wouldn't squander it. It actually takes more intelligence to squander it since not squandering it is essentially doing nothing.

There are many athletes who make MORE money and still end up filing for bankruptcy, because they're financial idiots with no self-control.
So how smart you are is directly related to how much money you have? So broke college students are idiots and drug dealers are brilliant?

Strange but funny - I didn't know Fergie was a singer. I've heard of her, but clearly I haven't heard much.

The whole concern, though, about 'looking at women as sex objects'. That's much more broad spectrum than 'a singer in a music video'. That entire sentiment means this: All women, at all times, should not be seen ONLY for their sexual appeal and nothing else. Time and place for everything and sometimes it is not the time, the place, or your place. (general your).

But it does NOT mean women cannot dress up sexy when they want. It does NOT mean men and women cannot look and appreciate when a woman does so.

So can an individual woman decide she wants to flaunt herself and be seen and appreciated as a sex object? Yes - she absolutely can if she wants to.

Her current net worth is 41 million. Even if you think she is dumb as a rock, she's smart enough to make a lot of money off of it.

She isn't, her family on the other hand has cerinly rode her, not unlike ray j and undoubtedly a slew of other men.

Celebrities dont live in a bubble. Throughout history celebrities pretty much reflect society.

I think that's arguable, that Celebrities don't live in a bubble.

Celebutards have a nice little bubble all to themselves in Hollyweird.

On the occasion when they do come out of that bubble, they usually end up say something really stupid about politics, of which they know next to nothing of.

Kim Kardashian is quite attractive. Her intellect, such as it is, ruins it for me, though.

Claiming the non-existent again, I see. :)

Lol and I can't deny that. One of my cousins loves to watch Keeping up with the Kardashians and whenever she has it on, I'm just like why???

Exactly. Ranks right up there with Honey Boo Boo, if you ask me.

She used to sing with the Black Eyed Peas.

I'm a guy but i'd like to respond.

Degrading/Empowering ? The video itself seems to depict an empowered Fergie who hypnotized an entire classroom of male students. I would not consider the video itself to be empowering, but it does depict an empowered character. I suppose you could argue that the depicted men were degraded in the video as being easily manipulated by their sexual appetite, "didn't mean to make you nervous."

Funny ? No.

Entertaining ? Yes, though perhaps mildly or ironically.

Art ? Absolutely, without a doubt, yes.

Trash ? No, it looks like a pretty well-done production.

Borderline porn ? I guess i'll deviate a bit on this one. Let me put it this way- this seems to be visual material displaying sexual organs and activity intended to stimulate erotic rather than aesthetic or emotional feelings.

Pornography : printed or visual material containing the explicit description or display of sexual organs or activity, intended to stimulate erotic rather than aesthetic or emotional feelings.

So... yes...

The video doesn't necessarily reduce women to sex objects. The kind of objectification i find more offensive goes far beyond merely stimulating arousal- it's when the stimulating party is reduced to little or nothing more than a locus for sex.
