Porn is Bad for Your Health

How is letting the former husband have custody of the children not 'abuse of women'?

These are just silly word games that don't have anything of substance behind them except emotion.

Everyone gets their day in court. That's how our system works.

I'll need more than just general, unsupported claims to accept that divorce proceedings are 'abuse of men'.

The women get custody 83% of the time. That's the abuse.

it's the LSD church, find a better source

For the record I get a catalogue from a very upscale tool company called "Lee Valley". They not only have the best tools, but have tools you never imagined and would like to have. The main catalogue is about two inches thick and has the highest quality resolution color.

It lives, where else, the can.

When she was alive, my wife called it "tool porn".

Hmmmm Lee Valley! in my best Homer Simpson voice.
It doesn't have stores in my area but I know all about Lee Valley and Veritas tools

I don't support banning porn. If USA banned porn, it would really be outsourcing it to China... and like with everything else we outsource, they don't do it as good as us. Asian people blur their porn. It's not fun to watch. We need to keep porn legal and made in the USA. Nobody ****s better than Americans...

Women will leave their husbands, get the kids, and then get half of everything. They lose nothing, and thus they initiate divorce far more often than men.

Is that true??? Can you show how you came to that piece of information? Do you have a non-biased source about 'they initiate divorce more oftehn than men'??? You do realize that many of the single parent women are living below the poverty level, don't you??

Have you ever heard of Google?

Abstract:
Most divorces in the US are wanted by the wife. Women’s predominance in wanting
divorce (among couples who divorce) seems to have been consistent over time. The author uses a
new longitudinal study of relationships in the US, the How Couples Meet and Stay Together
surveys, to examine the gender of who wanted the breakup for both marital and nonmarital
relationships for the first time. The results show that only in marriages are the majority of
breakups wanted by the female partner. Men and women in nonmarital heterosexual
relationships in the US are equally likely to want to break up. Furthermore, wives report lower
relationship quality than husbands, while men and women in nonmarital relationships report
more similar relationship quality.

THough this is something that everyone should know.

I'd be hard-pressed to think of a more futile pursuit than dissuading people from porn; at this stage, society might collapse if we were to ban it.

How is taking away their children and properly unjustifiably called abuse of men? That's pretty self-evident.

because when you're married your stuff is property of both of you, hence subject to equitable division.

as far as children, men win custody of children just under half the time when the contest for custody the majority of divorces the ex husband is either not suitable for the children to live, or never actually files for sole custody, when you go to cases where both parties contest primary custody of children the statistic is not very lopsided at all.

It would free a lot of bandwidth though!
Essentially double it for streaming, pirating and trolling forums

I was addicted to porn before I became sexually active and continued to watch a great deal of porn long after. Porn is a symptom of sexual fantasy. It's not bad for your health. Abuse of pornography is bad for your health, yet stigmatization of sex is far worse for the public at large. I think you will find that the sexual problems suffering Americans are more subtle and severe than pornography.

lol
you set him up.
Nicely done

Wait a minute, wives initiating divorces more frequently than men doesn't mean that women are treated as property in an oppressive institution.

That is the conclusion of the article he quoted. Do you accept the article, or don't you?

Well those are the "Modesty" feminists that think that way. There are a lot of other feminists out there that disagree with that position.

The term "feminist" is in my opinion frequently misused. I have had the pleasure of knowing a few feminists who enjoyed every position. ;)

Well when I get feminists telling me that feminists dont exist anymore I know the fix is in on that score.....

Language dishonesty has long been a go-to tactic of the elite.

I make up my own mind on such things.

I dont get told how to think.

Well we know for sure that diabetes is spiking and that it causes ED, as for porn causing it I have never seen that proven, and based upon my experience and the experience of guys that I talk to I doubt that it can be proven. Porn has increased the quality of my life, I have no desire to restrict my porn intake, if I feel like consuming porn then I will consume porn.

EDIT: I do believe that porn tends to make us more sexually adventurous, which the feminists generally have a big problem with, because they tend to think that erotically adventurous men will do harm to women in pursuit of their erotic adventures.

Actually the problem isn't that porn is "bad for you," as much as it is causing some guys to be hyper-sexual without a partner: Lazy sexual behavior and so on. It isn't good to consume too much of anything. I know my sex life has gotten a lot better since I pretty much gave it all up.

Ya, I once heard this joke that there is something called sex addiction, which has a lot to do with sex being too much a part of ones life.

That was funny!

You do realize there is such a thing as sex addiction right? Where one's entire life is consumed by sex. It causes extremely unhealthy habits. Compromising your well being for a "fix."

The same can be said for porn addiction. But they aren't the same thing. Anything that is done to the point of addiction isn't healthy. Especially when you are finding it impossible to live your life without that fix.

As stated: too much porn isn't good for you. Probably the most concerning is the need for stronger stimuli to have an orgasm. Makes it harder for you and your partner when you can't just click on the next button for a sexier partner with the right color pubic hair and sex toy and their best friend and that weird fetish thing.

A little bit of porn? Whatever. A lot is never good. Moderation is best.
