There isn't too much to sweat here. Donald J. Trump has already told us that the Corona Virus will be gone by April. Trump knows what he is talking about. He's the president. He gets daily security briefings. No one loves science more than Trump. In no way would Trump lie or make a public statement devoid of reason and truth about such a serious possible threat. Trump must be believed.

Many of you may return to window licking without fear. Or if you want to be very safe wait until April.

This is too serious to start playing politics with it. I understand the lack of faith in Trump, and I share in that, but lets try and keep this topic free of unnecessary political comment. Sadly there may be a time for that in the months ahead. I hope not though.

So looking at this just now (26feb2020) there are:

81,128 confirmed cases worldwide
2,765 deaths
30,258 recovered

Take it seriously, especially if you're old or have a weak immune system, but no need to panic.
No need to panic any more than panicking about the "regular flu" strains that go around every year.

In reality we have no real idea how many people have it.

Exactly, this is documented cases only.

How many people are just staying home or can't afford to go to a doctor?

Same could be said for the other less "famous" strains of flu/virus right?

Plenty of people might have it, be sick for a while, then recover, and never know they had the corona virus at all.

Anyone notice that the website / link last updated this morning at 08:33CST.

Is that about the same time that the New York Stock Exchange halted for 15 minutes this morning ?

Just five days later:

US numbers

6496 confirmed
114 deaths
17 recovered

Not good...not good at all.
