Within my family, there has developed a split between the pro-and anti-vaccination (well, that is too strong. not willing to get things like MMR, etc., but willing to get vaccines seen as life-saving) sides.

I would like to build a case laying out - accurately - relative risks to both positions. While I have slept at a Holiday Inn, I'm also not a medical expert. Does anyone out there have a good chunk of resources handy on the issue?

Anyone that refuses MMR but gets in a car, walks down a street or takes a shower in a bathtub is intellectually vapid.

Not necessarily. There are legit reasons not to get the MMR vaccine. However, those conditions are listed and specific. However, unless you have those specific conditions, not having it is entirely stupid.

I think its a lost cause. Because as far as both sides are concerned any information presented will be seen as biased. Any information supporting pro-vaccinations will be seen as bought and paid for by the vaccines makers. Any information against vaccinations will be seen as crazy conspiracy loon stuff.

My concern with vaccines is the sheer number given in this country, and how many are given at any one time. I do not think they cause Autism. I think Autism is caused, mainly, by high levels of estrogen in the pregnant women. That's why boys (mostly) get Autism.
