Any advice on a good logo design software program? I have a small business and my use it for other marketing stuff as well. In my short search so far, Adobe Illustrator looks like a great program, anyone have experience with it?

Adobe Illustrator is a fantastic program. It takes a bit to get the hang of it, but it's quite powerful.

Thanks! It looks like it's cloud based, does that mean I don't have to have a powerful computer to store and use it?

You should get as much RAM as you can, but it isn't CPU- or GPU-intensive.

You HAVE to go with Illustrator. All round best product the market has with also a ton of tutorials online.
There are other alternatives of course, but a huge majority of graphic designers use Adobe products.

Inkscape is, I hear, pretty good as well (and Open Source aka free).

If you have a small business and you don't want to design something too complicated, you should maybe check it out. All you need is a vectorized logo so you can make it as big as you want.

Best of luck !

The Adobe suit is pretty expensive...but you can "rent" it now, which makes it way more affordable. Illustrator is the industry standard. It is the measure by which all other graphic design programs are judged.

Awesome, I was looking for an enthusiastic recommendation, thanks!

Adobe Illustrator for me is still the best!
