1. Here's another suggestion - you're in Canada, so join the Canadian Navy (which I do not suggest for any American in the age of Trump). You'll see and do things you'd never experience staying near home. In my youth, the recruiting slogan was "It's not just a job, it's an adventure"...and that's the truest advertising slogan ever! I've seen and done things that most civilians out there can only dream of...and my twenty years in the Navy gave me perspective I could never have gained staying in the area I grew up...and gave me a lifetime of sea stories with which to bore my kids and grandkids.
To be sure, there will be times that you would hate it and you will curse me for ever suggesting it to you...but when all is said and done, you'll have seen and done things that you can't even dream of doing today. Just something to think about!
1. I'll think about that but I think I'm dead set on being a HVAC Technician as long as I can improve my social skills. If I can't then I'm thinking about going into computer programming. I went to visit New York before and learned some from Aaron Swartz himself before he committed suicide for hacking. He was a good guy to but anyways, I'm sold on the idea that life is mainly a journey and not a destination. Get a job/career you'll love to do work hard enough to maintain and go from there if you want to start a family or something like that go for it.
As for the blacked part yes definitely. Americans are sunk too deeply into there ideologies that the marines think they are going around trying to spread freedom when in reality they are over there just securing/stealing resources to fuel there ever broken Capitalism where over 70% of the population is fighting over 1% of the resources.
