I was amazed at how well sending texts were using the built in speech-to-text software on my iPhone, but it has no idea what the word " evidently" is.

Still, I would like to use something like this for my reports and was wondering if any members have actually used one to recommend?
One that can learn new words and is teachable.
I have heard of Red Dragon, but have never used it.
Might there be other software out there I have not heard about?
Thank you.

Dragon is just about the only one out there worth anything

My wife uses Dragon; seems to be about the best on the market at moment.

Another vote for Dragon Naturally Speaking. I had to use it for absolutely everything for about a year of high school after I injured myself. Even then, it was pretty damn good. It's kept its reputation over the years, and it's even better now.

If you plan to use it a fair amount, it's definitely worth the price tag.
