What are you asking "ladies" for?

Several times in my life women have tried to attract my attention by doing one hideous thing or another.
In a few cases it made me angry, as in high school where a gal used to run out onto the soccer field when I'd get the ball, and render herself her own 3rd team.

I was at a Customer Appreciation Picnic a few weeks ago, and ended up in a conversation with a cute gal (customer) serving liquid refreshments.
The topic slid to wine, and I told her my favorite white is Rhine wine: nice, light, balanced.
She ended up extending her hand to me, shaking my hand, and introducing herself to me by name.
By then I was so nervous I completely forgot her name!
The irony there is, I went to the picnic in the first place specifically to meet chicks!

Too bad she didn't hand me a business card with her name on it or something.

Maybe next year.

It usually involves a credit check and an asset search. "I'm very lovable when I'm standing on my wallet!" LOL. Then she grabs my ass! :roll:
 
You deserve a better answer than I gave you!

In truth, if you find yourselves relaxed around each other, that is a first good sign. Women like to feel they can trust you, both in personal safety and not hurting their reputation if things don't work out. As men we too often forget that women don't think like we do, and often want to make a bigger emotional investment before they get too involved.

My advice is to just try to be best version yourself, and let nature take its course.

Also, the advice I gave my kids: "Don't get involved with someone who knows more about life than you do." IOW, it's healthy to be somewhat equally naive about life - "A pairing of equals", so to speak.

Lol, that reminds me of the Louis C.K. joke he had about having sex with a girl who secretly wanted him to rape her. I know it sounds morbid, but he has a way of making morbid things so lighthearted. It basically boiled down to "So I am going to do this on the off-chance that you wanted it, and if I'm wrong I go to jail."
 
They make you feel interesting, clever, even humorous. It's all an act.
