Solas and Wind energy is a joke!

The only way this could be not insane is if it is dishonest. That is, it is only coherent - although still dishonest - if you are focusing only on CO2 produced when the wind power plant is being built, while ignoring all the CO2 not released as a result of the power generated by that plant supplanting power that would have been generated by fossil fuel plants.

That would be stupid and dishonest. The entire point of wind power is that the only CO2 or other greenhouse gasses emitted are emitted while you are actually building the thing. Once built, it then omits nothing. Whereas a fossil fuel plant is constantly emitting all sorts of things in addition to CO2.

Explain how wind turbines create CO2. I am guessing that is what you meant 'costs a lot of CO2'. Break the habit of a lifetime and actually answer a question.

Maybe he thinks that we should be pumping CO2 into the atmosphere. That is why he is promoting generating electricity by burning fossil fuels.

Solar and wind do work. THey may not work at peak efficiency all of the time but they do generate power. BEP is now a 10Billion dollar alternative energy fund that continually invests in large scale alternative energy projects and they are making money.

All you have to do is calculate the amount of energy that hits this earth every day from the sun and you will eventually realize that there is more than enough energy to drive our world.

Battery technology is advancing and will eventually penetrate the energy market.

I am of no disillusion that the transition to 100% alternative energy will take a very long time. (DECADES) I would absolutely do it for my house except the economics are not there at my level. The economics may never be there at my level because if they were, we could systematically put the energy distribution industry out of business. Our Governments do not want that.

Even todlers (sic) can see it. Many gas stations are powered by wind turbines, perhaps someone should tell the owners of the gas stations that wind turbines do not work.
 
I have it! The owners of the gas stations are in on the evil global conspiracy and are only pretending that the wind turbines work. That must be it. To keep the conspiracy going they had to actually build the turbines. That shows commitment.
