Not one technology came out of 'academic science'

Academia is about discovering Perfect Knowledge.

Well, by now you must know I disagree, Academia is , at the moment, an instituition to keep people from the street, that really is all.
There is no added value. And what the hell is 'perfect knowledge"?

Except if you can deliver some....

Only because you don't really understand the concept. Academia discovers Perfect Knowledge through the scientific method. It is not profitable for the private, for profit sector to do it.

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt???????????????????????????????????????

China, India and other countries get all their technology from our universities - and Americans are denied admission for this purpose.

what I mean is that , no, it originally doesn't come from any university. I didn't wrote universities or whatever have no technologies.
I wrote that it is not their own,. It is all stolen.

Universities can't
really make a damn thing .
It simply can't because the theories are extremely flawed, so how can they then make working technologies"?

The 'technologies, coming from universities are all stolen, from hardworking inventors.

Funny is why so mahy people have trouble with this. It just proves 'moden academic science' is a religion a faith.
Full with stupid dogma's and very very stupid rituals.
And anyone who attacks that faith.....owha!

Just look at the reactions here and it is crystal clear. Except for the people who cling desperately to their faith, of course.
I can nearly feel their panic. Other wise why would they 'care' so much about all this bull**** from their academia?

It is indeed a very strange world.

o wow a link!!! But you haven't researched a thing, have you?

Well, I have.

I won't go into anything, I don't have to check all 100.
You just made a link, Not very hard work is it? But let's look at some.

Anyway:

It starts all wrong at the beginning!

Fluoride was a by product of the atomic bomb! It was garbage and they had to
been 'sold' to the public! What better way then 'sell' it through 'science'!
but it rot your teeth! oh and btw the atomic bomb was NOT because of an idiot called einstein. (Again it came NOT from universities)

Television. Also NOT from universities, but it seems you don't even read my posting!
A few posting back I had mentioned Sir William Crookes, (1832 1919). An earlier devolpment of the old tv tube.
again NO UNIVERSITY

Radio, Televsion and it's components and their invention can all be traced back to before 1930, without any
religious university.

Internet & web, Tim Berners-Lee?

Nope,

"No, Tim BernersLee did not invent the Internet. The Internet was created in the
late 1960's as a collaborative effort between several universities and the U.S.
Department of Defense (ARPANET). Tim BernersLee
used the already existing Internet as the foundation for how the World Wide Web would function. For more
on the early days of the Internet, read The History of the Internet."

( I disagree with the university part here, of course)

Radio:

Really? Totally wrong! Nikola Tesla has invented the radio and not as the 'universities' teach,Marconi, who was a thief.

Laser

“Theodore Harold "Ted" Maiman (1927 – 2007) was an American physicist
(He was not, he was an engineer!!) who made the first laser (Light Amplification by
Stimulated Emission of Radiation).Maiman received many awards and honors
for his work, and was the author of a book titled The Laser Odyssey, which
describes the events surrounding the creation of the first laser.”

Electron Microscope:

"At the time he died, Farnsworth held 300 U.S. and foreign patents. His inventions
contributed to the development of radar, infrared
night vision devices, the
electron microscope, the baby incubator, the gastroscope, and the astronomical
telescope.
Philo T. Farnsworth 1922, American inventor and television pioneer.(again NO University at all!)

Yes, we get the picture. You don't know what you are talking about.

Noted: you make fun of a link. Yet you provide nothing but opinion to back up your false premise.

well, a link is for easy and very lazy people. And why don't I know what I am gtalking about?

I brought the informatilon and now anyone can check for his or him self that my conclusion

\technologywise, nothing has ever come out of 'Modern Academic Science"

is right.

It is a sad state of affairs but it is what it is.

The religion of modern academic science is dead.

So this whole thread is your opinion. Not one that I agree with. As far as using links. They are used to back up one's statements. Without them or at least referencing a source that backs your position it is not worth the electrons used to make your post.

Just out of curiosity. What is your education level and what is your work profession?

I get the picture. Go on and on and on and on, under a nonsensical absolute premise.

All of those technologies originated in the universities ...

There were also technologies that originated in private labs, such as the laser printer (xerox parc).

How true. The transistor was shown to work in 1947 (I think December)

Planck demonstrated that energy, in certain situations, can exhibit characteristics of physical matter. Planck’s theory held that radiant energy is made up of particle-like components, known as “quanta.” (Quantum Theory) The theory helped to resolve previously unexplained natural phenomena such as the behavior of heat in solids and the nature of light absorption on an atomic level. In 1918, Planck was rewarded the Nobel Prize in physics for his work on blackbody radiation.

Boy..I could be wrong but I kinda' think that 1918 was before 1947. :)

Well, just write what is nonsensical and why that is, the floor is yours.

Yes, there is not one technology that came out of 'academic science'. ALL, yes all technologies were invented
before 'academic science' 'had".
An example is the transistor. 'Academic Science' tells us the transistor is here because of quantum mechanics ( qm is bollocks by the way!). Nothing could be further from the truth.
The transistor was invented before quantum mechanics, And so it is with a whole lot of other inventions.
In reality 'academic science' simply can't deliver because the theories are very very wrong.
So, let's face it, people in 'academic science', 'scientists' have only a job to get them off the streets and earn some money to be able to buy some food. That's it. Nothing more.

Palandro:

This description is full of historical inaccuracies and falsehoods. By way of example, Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Theory were developed in the Late 19th and Early 20th centuries but the transistor was developed in the 1940s. So the transistor was developed after the birth of Quantum Mechanics, not before it as you falsely claim.

Academia has developed many technologies, so the OP's argument is bunk, pure and simple.

Cheers and be well.
Evilroddy.
