Not one technology came out of 'academic science'

Yes, there is not one technology that came out of 'academic science'. ALL, yes all technologies were invented
before 'academic science' 'had".
An example is the transistor. 'Academic Science' tells us the transistor is here because of quantum mechanics ( qm is bollocks by the way!). Nothing could be further from the truth.
The transistor was invented before quantum mechanics, And so it is with a whole lot of other inventions.
In reality 'academic science' simply can't deliver because the theories are very very wrong.
So, let's face it, people in 'academic science', 'scientists' have only a job to get them off the streets and earn some money to be able to buy some food. That's it. Nothing more.

Here it is folks, a post made from a computer and computer technologies (integrated circuits, networking, an operating system, the http protocol, the concept of forums (usenet), object oriented programming, etc), which we all concepts derived primarily at universities, claiming that academic science is bunk!

Wow the irony... all the advancements in just technology alone allowing you to make this asinine post suggests you may want to rethink your ridiculous theory just a moment.

This poster reminds me of that meme floating around social media a few years back from the 'Flat Earth Society' (or some ****,) where the post from the group literally said "we now have members all over the globe" then someone else suggested that poster reread that entry... very slowly.

That is what I am saying. It is NOT from the universities at all.
Most of it is from lone inventors way way back before the universities said it is from the universities.

Care to answer the real question myself and others are answering, related to all this technology that "academic science" never came up with yet you are using right now to have this debate here at DP?

All of those technologies originated in the universities ...

There were also technologies that originated in private labs, such as the laser printer (xerox parc).

Well, maybe, maybe not. I am not saying I speciale in certain things.
It is really simple what I am saying, but people seem to get very confused. Probably because of cognitive dissonance.
The only thing I say is that for every technology that is being claimed to be of 'academic science', you can find that it
was here way way before 'academic science' has heard of it .Just take a technology ( Like the transistor) and see if you can find someone who made it before 'academic science 'claimed it.
You see, 'acadamic science' is clueless about the nature.Hence the theories are wrong, so they can't really produce anything.
That's why 'academic science' is full of huge huge holes. It is so big of holes that they have to create dark matter, the absurd string theory, etc. Isn't it all obvious by now?

(oh btw what space program are you reffering to?)

I think it is even worse that that, quantum mechanics was being solidified in the 1920's, at the same time early academic publications
were finding unusual electrical behavior in silicon. Decades later (1954) Bell labs was finally able to get silicon pure enough to produce
consistent results for a transistor. So academic research into both quantum mechanics and silicon's electrical properties,
happened almost 3 decades before the invention of the first transistor.

The Wiki page also agrees with my statement about silicon purity.
Because of his failure to publish articles in learned journals and because high-purity semiconductor materials
were not available yet, his FET patent never achieved fame, causing confusion for later inventors.

Actually it would be quantum mechanics that would describe the possible errors in a GPS system, and those are very real.
Simple things like a single receiver cannot resolve a higher resolution than one wavelength of the carrier.
This is not usually an issue for Human distances, as all GPS wavelengths are under 1 foot (~20 cm).
I agree that there is a lot about physics, that we do not know exactly, and we may well be in error about certain topics,
but the margin of error is close enough for us to achieve viable results.
Humans are very cleaver, and have been for thousands of years, and in many cases the Engineering precedes the science,
but there are also many cases where the science, opens up new possibilities to the engineering.
This happened in my example of the Bell Labs Transistor, and GSI needing a better seismic recorder.

wouldn't quantum mechanic have always existed but its nature only discovered until after the transistor?

we had fire before we had the concept of oxidation and the atomic elements are those made up to?
