Despite it being perfectly safe and routinely tested by all US telecom companies involved in creating the process. I had two of my co-workers say that they believe it's going to damage us, the environment and possibly give us cancer, even though they are excited for super fast internet. Hypocrites much? It wasn't like a "Oh I believe in this blah, blah, blah." They were dead serious and considered me an idiot for not agreeing with them.
I told them that they are just scare-mongering. Worried about things for no reason. Then they say that I am really listening to the wrong people. When I know for a fact that they are wrong. This does not stop them from insulting my intelligence, though. I didn't tell them that I have both the US telecoms and US government on my side plus every computer scientist, and what do they have? Their gut instincts?
The 5G Health Hazard That Isn’t
This is the same crap the tinfoil hat idiots trot out over smart meters, wifi, 3g, 4g, cell phones, radio towers, CB radio, TV, digital displays and robots... Any form of new technology. There is a huge history of people freaking out over new technology. This is nothing new, and I've studied it a bit myself, but my co-workers were just soooo stead-fast in their belief which was based on absolutely nothing.
The FCC says 5G is safe, but that won’t stop conspiracy theorists
