We are entering the threshold to the UncannyValley. Once we get VR contact lenses there is no going back.

I have an Oculus Rift and an Oculus Go. I love it. And it goes great with weed. :)

What will really make it great is once the resolution of the screen is fine enough so the human eye can’t detect the pixels. Right now it has a screen door effect if you focus on it. And it will make a world of difference once the goggles somehow incorporate peripheral vision. Also, I want haptic suits and 360 degree treadmills like in Ready Player One.

FunFact: I guess this patent is from the 1960's.
