A widely used method of encrypting emails has been found to suffer from a serious vulnerability, researchers say.

PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) is a data encryption method sometimes added to programs that send and receive email.

I'm not going to worry about it because I don't email anything that couldn't be broadcast from the top of the Washington Monument.

You also don't have to worry about it if you don't have this program installed. And of course a software with "pretty good," in it's name is always suspicious, but it's also an industry standard in lots of places.
