One of the first things Einstein did whenever he tried to solve a science problem was to "step back" and take nothing for granted. Such is always helpful in finding truth.
Right now on Earth, one Earth polar circle, the Antarctic, has 9 times the ice of the other, is on average 50F colder than then other, and calves/puts 9 times the ice into the oceans, some 46 times the molecular H2O the Mississippi dumps in the Gulf. WHY? Why does one Earth polar circle cool Earth so much more than the other?

97% of Earth's ice is on the two land masses closest to an Earth pole..... and land MOVES.... so it is possible for Earth to have, for example, two polar oceans.... which would be the "warm Earth" parameter, and during it Earth would essentially have NO ICE...
That is the dictator of Earth climate. Think of Earth as a room with two AC units, Arctic and Antarctic, each with settings 0=off and 10=maxCOOL. Right now, given where land is, the Antarctic AC is set at 9 and the Arctic AC is set at 1.... and THAT is 99% of what causes our current climate....

We are bombarded with speculative BS about something called an "ice age." What is an ICE AGE? Are ice ages planetary or CONTINENT SPECIFIC???

The best clue, and one which completely rules out atmospheric gasses as a cause, is the past million years of climate history right here....
One million years ago, North America was covered with ice age glaciers down to Indiana, and Greenland was completely green. During the past million years, Greenland froze while North America thawed, all at the same time on the same planet with the same atmosphere with the same amount of CO2 in the atmosphere...
