Just to brighten up your day. Eat, drink, and be merry and all that.

That will clear up anthropogenic global warming. The volcanoes don't care how much CO2 they emit.
I think "clear up" is a poor choice of words.
And what could happen is no excuse for anthropogenic global warming.
That's as dumb as chronic smoker's excusing their habit as saying, "Well I'm going to die anyway."
No room in the forum for humor?

No, hatchet faced 'liberals' rule DP to whom a sense of humour is entirely foreign. In this they closely resemble their icon, Hillary Clinton.
Actually a super volcano would solve global warming. First it would block out the sun dropping the temperature significantly. Second it would create world wide famine easily cutting the worlds population by two thirds or more. Plus we would no longer need to exploit Mexicans to pick the food we could no longer grow. It would solve our illegal immigration problem as well.
As long as you're not in in the blast and ash radius or are effected negatively yourself right?

Oh, you won't be affected negatively unless you happen to reside on the third rock from the sun.

What happens to the world after I (and a few close friends/family) am gone means little to me.
It can blow up, humanity can die out...whatever.
Not my problem.
I, for one, do not have a very high opinion of humanity. I did at one time...I no longer do.
And though I would do nothing to hasten it's demise. If it's gone in a couple hundred years...whatever. I am quite sure the universe can live without us just fine.
I'm sure you're being sarcastic. The earth's core serves a lot of life-giving functions to this planet.
Only dead planets and moons are cool at the core.
I would not be so quick to write off the trillions of moons and planets in our universe that have cores that cooled as being dead or lifeless. At least until we have explored a few million and can use that small percentage to form such a theory.
You might want to read up on how the earth's core and it subsequent magnetism are vital to protect us from harmful radiation from the sun. That's what I was referring to. And the movement of the earth's crust due to core activity is vital to constantly reshaping and revitalizing the planet.
