Ground breaking Study of NDE's Proves Consciousness Survives Death....

Interesting. I've always been on the fence when it comes to legitimacy of NDE's and whether or not they were just manifestations of a dying brain or a legitmate phenomena.

Sure, there have been countless people who have described out of body experiences after clinically dying but they were typically written off by Dr's and Scientist

This study proves that they in fact are legitimate with one participant giving a specific description of what was happening around him after he died

If one "comes back," one is not dead. Clinically perhaps, but not dead-dead. The really dead don't come back to life unless they're zombies.

As one who has been under general anesthetic more times than I can count, I can almost assure you that death is like that. As if a light switch was turned off. Don't worry, you'll never even know it's happened.

I think all this means is that the Brain is able to keep on ticking for a few minutes after it's cut off from consistent blood circulation. Obviously not to it's fullest extent. Kind of like the brain enters a boot menu in safe mode and is idle... but is able to collect a small about of data.... until the power fully goes out.

How would that account for a person, who is clinically dead, being able to accurately describe events going on around his body?

"clinically" dead... just means his heart stopped, it has nothing to do with the other parts of your body that still function still some 6 minutes after your heart stopping.

Hell, I want to believe this xD but I must voice my speculation. I cannot lie to myself. To me, this explanation is much more likely than "spirits" being real and him coming out of his body in some sort of alternate consciousness form witnesses things, i'm afraid that explanation is much more extraordinary, and requires more extraordinary evidence.

Okay, even if the subject's state of awareness was more akin to unconsciousmess, how do you account for the phenomenon? While possibly his sense of hearing could gather input, his normal vision couldn't function with eyes closed. Look, I agree this doesn't prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that there's life after death, but it's still an interesting phenomenon, and worthy of further study. :)

Those are just stories that someone told you. There is no way for you to prove them to be real. That is because it wasnt actual science it was pseudoscience.

No, those are the accounts of hundreds of people that were involved in this legitimate scientific study. Have you even bothered to read it ????

I guess not, but since you seem to have all the answers maybe you could finally explain quantum decoherence, why superpositonal sub-atomic states collapse under observation and or measurment.

As it pertains to the mind and the consiousness Scientist have receny doscovered quantum vibrations deep inside neurons in the human brain...

Or is that " psuedo - science " too ? Lol....why am I asking you ?

You think somthing has to be " proved " in order for it to qualify as Science. Thats there's no such thing as the theoretical

Maybe YOUR'E in the wrong section of the forum.

I agree. I read or heard somewhere where someone died in the hospital and was resuscitated. That person told about how he went out of his body and went through the ceiling; he told about seeing an old pair of tennis shoes on the roof of the hospital; someone checked and found the shoes.

Anesthesiologist Stuart Hamerroff and Roger Penrose have been working on the theory that our conscious resides deep inside our nureons inside microtubules and that its a function on quantum calculations

To bolster their theory, Scientist have recently discovered quantum vibrations inside te nuerons of the human brain..
https://www.google.com/amp/phys.org/news/2014-01-discovery-quantum-vibrations-microtubules-corroborates.amp?client=ms-android-hms-tmobile-us

This theory is being used account for phneomena like OBE's and NDEs by through quantum principles like superpositon and quantum entanglment.

That the quantum information that resides deep inside our nuerons can live on after brain death. Scientist still have no idea what physiological process produces our consciousness.

As for general anesthesia, Ive been under too. Yea, its basically lost time. The difference is your brain is still funtioning and still receiving the O2 it needs.

If consiousness eminates from cerebral cortext part of the brain, and that part is shut down after clinical death, how can someone remember what was hapening in the room ?

So tell me how that relates with Near Death Experiences and the link in the OP? It doesnt does it? You just thought that if you cited it that it would shut me up. Seriously what are you trying to say here? Are you trying to claim that this link somehow proves NDE's?
What happened to "Truth is, you have no more proof of the validity of NDEs than anyone else" now all the sudden you claim to have something WTF dude dont you see how stupid that is?

Face it you already claimed to not know ****, you cannot now claim that you do. lol
