'War time thermal finder.'

If we could pick up where the enemy is with thermal devices, then it would be much easier to find them and 'confront them.' this device needs to be ready quickly, so we must modify an already available device.

So, if we already have a thermographic camera, we could hook it up to a large power source to search for thermal activity. this can be done by replacing the battery with the input plugs of the mains from the power supply.

What, you mean like FLIR, which was around when I was in the service(late 80s, early 90s)?

No. I think it is supposed to show "Enemy" printed on the image.

Just two nights ago we were using our thermals at the range. Thermals have been around for quite some time. You may want to do a bit more research

These devices already exist, thanks for your concern.

Giving an infrared camera more electricity doesn't make it do it's job better. You'd know that already if you knew... well, anything about anything.
