The 13-year-old physicist is known for his eloquent theories on God, the universe, and the bible, and his lessons are sure to inspire some deep contemplation on life’s big questions. Not only did Loughan invent a free Tesla-inspired energy device using a coffee tin, spoon and wire (all of which cost him $15), he has developed some intriguing ideas on the universe. In the video below, he shares his latest theory on God, and it’s sure to touch your heart. READ MORE: 13-Year-Old Physicist Has A Mindblowing Theory On God

Bright kid.

I am completely blown away. What a genius! And I'm sure he is right. Years ago, people like him were persecuted, tortured and worse for their beliefs. People would have been afraid of him not too many hundreds of years ago. Probably burned him as a warlock.

His theories were a bit beyond me, but his INTELLECT is far beyond me, so imnot surprised.

I hope he is nurtured. He and others like him of all ages represent hope for our future.

Thanks for a MOST interesting post.

I don't know anything about this person, but here's a list of things that don't exist:

1.) Thirteen year old physicists.
2.) Free energy devices.

The closest the world has come to the first is Jacob Barnett, who is autistic and got a masters in theoretical physics at age 15 (He's currently working on his PhD). And the second is impossible for reasons that any member of the former should be able to explain.

"He's an energy form that created all, is all, and is everywhere and nowhere at the same time...."

Ugh. :doh

Lots of People Think Complete Nonsense Is Profound, Study Finds

Those who are particularly receptive to bull****, the researchers found, tend to show lower cognitive abilities (like verbal intelligence); are less reflective; more prone to conspiracy theories; more likely to subscribe to religion and belief in the paranormal; and more likely to be a fan of alternative medicine.

Well, that verbiage doesn't even qualify as pseudo-intellectual, and the kid seems like a mouth-piece and/or a trophy for the sophistic liberal movement of pop science.

For someone to be a physicist, he needs to have obtained at least a Phd in one physics' branches, which means that a 13 years old physicist must've obtained his bachelor degree at the age of 9. I don't know about everybody else, but that's a load of hogwash.

Sorry, kid...the Buddhists beat you to it.

My mind remained a long way from blown.

Again, Jacob Barnett came shockingly close, but not enough. And he has a Wikipedia page. Barnett also came out publicly and said some pointless things about the Big Bang, but from what I understand now, he's pretty much a rank-and-file physicist.

I don't think someone needs the full PhD to be considered a physicist, however (However, this is a matter of taste). I'm content with someone who's published author in a respected physics journal, but that will almost certainly require being in a graduate program and having completed a bachelors. If anyone under the age of 19 makes it into a graduate program, they are immediately get talked about on the news and they get a Wikipedia page.

The kid's an idiot and so is anyone who thinks this kid knows what the **** he's talking about. Maggie, his theories weren't beyond you. The reason you didn't understand his theories is because they were nonsensical babble. Worse than Star Trek fan fiction. We shouldn't nurture bull****.

How do you know, Deuce?

Well, the first red flag is someone claiming to invent a free energy device. Free energy is impossible.

The rest was the gibberish he spit out about Tesla, his "inventions," and other crap. (no, Tesla did not set himself on fire and come out unharmed)

Imagine if I, not a car guy, walked into a room full of auto mechanics and started saying things like "if you route the transmission capacitor from the cylinder to spark plug belt, you can double your fuel economy."

That's this kid.

I'm believing you. Well done!

The young man has no theory. A theory is supported by evidence. He has no evidence, just ruminations.
