Democracy -- Putin style.

......kinda sounds like they are taking notes from American police.

Yeltsin was an alcoholic selling Russia out from the Russian people. The economy was in freefall, the country was in freefall. The Russian people had freedom, but could not enjoy it because they had no money. The Russian mob had far more power, and emigration out of Russia was extremely high during that period. Putin is by no means a saint, but he is by far a better leader than Yeltsin ( yes Putin has been in power that long)

Putin is the mob and yeltsin as bad as he was was definitely better than the psychopath Putin.
