John the Baptist lived in the wilderness off locusts and wild honey.

Do you know from any historical documents if he ever had employment?

I admire him. He was an interesting character. That life was hard and noble, it just strikes me as being unhealthy and reckless.

Why do you think God wanted him living like that?

Do you have any attraction to that type of life? If so, it might get you in the loony bin.

Locusts are delicious, don't knock em till you try em.

It's possible that employment records from that time were lost in a flood, or a fire....or maybe the locusts!

I wonder what Tim the plumber did for employment?

So far two of your threads has been closed by staff.
I believed they were about our President or something.
Anyway getting back I think John the Baptist baptized Jesus which leads to folks being waded in the water...otherwise being baptized.
As for living in the wilderness ?
Living under Demo/liberal rule will drive anyone in the woods.
