This is the anglicized form of the Greek word bla·sphe·miʹa. The Greek term basically means injurious, defamatory, or abusive speech and was used with reference to such speech whether directed against God or against humans. (Compare Re 16:11; Mt 27:39.) The English word “blasphemy,” however, is usually restricted to irreverent or abusive speech against God and sacred things. It is thus the antithesis of words of worship directed to the Divine Being.

It actually suffices to be devoid of any belief in the existence of deities to make blaspheming them an oymoron. If atheists are right, there is no God and therefore nothing to blaspheme against.

Angels have free will.

In the Christian religion . The Jewish tradition has angels not having free will.. and that includes Ha-Satan. In the Jewish tradition, satan didn't "fall", but is merely doing his job of providing bad choices for people, so by rejecting those choices, and choosing Good, mankind can lift themselves from the mundane, and lead a more sanctified life.
Checkmate, Atheists!
Not all Christian religions. Angels do not have free will. Lucifer was not just any angel he was the greatest of angels. It is theorized that he was given some free will but not enough.
His job was to guard God's throne room. He was constantly in the presence of God always.
he was cast out of heaven for attempting to become God. He tried to take something that wasn't his which was God's Glory.
of course we don't know exactly what happened but we can surmise from certain texts. they are few and far between.

Angels have free will.
According to Scripture, both are blasphemers...of course an atheist can have a change of heart, where Satan and his demons cannot...
