What is the difference between an Atheist who speaks blaspheme against God and Jesus versus Satan?

Doesn't Satan do the same?

Checkmate, Atheists!

Angels have free will.

According to Scripture, both are blasphemers...of course an atheist can have a change of heart, where Satan and his demons cannot...

Nicely lame attempt at making an equation.

Atheism isnt blasphemous because people are allowed to have their own thoughts. Shaming people for other thoughts is a tribal defense. But Satanism is blasphemous because its done ONLY for the sake of making other people not have fun. I think god is strong enough to let people be comfy on their own terms and if they want to ignore him with atheism then I feel god would be comfortable allowing them to do that. Actually im not even sure god punishes Satanists (doesnt Satan do that?)

If someone on the street who didnt know you didnt trust you, you think they are being blasphemous? If you dont think its blasphemous for a stranger not to trust you then why would God? Wouldnt God be 500 times more forgiving than you? So why would you take the time to bother an atheist unless you just wanna rub their face in **** and that is your only real secret motivation.

This is the anglicized form of the Greek word bla·sphe·miʹa. The Greek term basically means injurious, defamatory, or abusive speech and was used with reference to such speech whether directed against God or against humans. (Compare Re 16:11; Mt 27:39.) The English word “blasphemy,” however, is usually restricted to irreverent or abusive speech against God and sacred things. It is thus the antithesis of words of worship directed to the Divine Being.

If atheists are right, there is no God and therefore nothing to blaspheme against.

Satan has no room for doubt. He knows the "truth" whereas the rest of us can only live in hope and faith or whatever.

My fellow Discordians have it WAY easier. Eris is absolutely bonkers, and doesn't give a **** about anything!

Satan reputedly thought about what he was doing and saying. That's the basic difference.

Also, Satan reputedly wasn't a follower. Richard Dawkins wasn't spawned yet.

So saying the same thing twice in one post gives it more weight?

Don't worry, it's quite clear that the c&p function obviously developed a will of its own.

It actually suffices to be devoid of any belief in the existence of deities to make blaspheming them an oymoron.

Oymoron? Is that yiddish? Lmao just yanking yer chain

Angels have free will.

In the Christian religion . The Jewish tradition has angels not having free will.. and that includes Ha-Satan. In the Jewish tradition, satan didn't "fall", but is merely doing his job of providing bad choices for people, so by rejecting those choices, and choosing Good, mankind can lift themselves from the mundane, and lead a more sanctified life.

An atheist doesn't believe in Jesus OR Satan, but Satan believed in Jesus.

Not all Christian religions. Angels do not have free will. Lucifer was not just any angel he was the greatest of angels. It is theorized that he was given some free will but not enough.
His job was to guard God's throne room. He was constantly in the presence of God always.

he was cast out of heaven for attempting to become God. He tried to take something that wasn't his which was God's Glory.
of course we don't know exactly what happened but we can surmise from certain texts. they are few and far between.

In the Jewish tradition he is precisely an angel.

I'm fairly sure atheists aren't constantly planning the downfall of the human race.

Only fairly sure, though.

Thank you for recognizing the true difference.
