All right people, help me out...

Yes, it is, and you weren't. What a lovely song. Here is the YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKSU9Dbxvrw

I love that song and I love Mark Schultz's singing. This is not a Christmas song, but a good one anyway. I took my wife to see Gone With the Wind on our first date and while the walk was only from the drive to the front door... Wow!

I hadn't even heard of Schultz until this thread. If you haven't read his Wiki entry, I think you'll enjoy learning about his concern for orphans: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Schultz_(musician)

I checked out Wiki and I loved his story of his time in Nashville. Being an orphan, it has probably produced a great need within him to help orphans. Glad he has and glad he has done well.

My wife and I have been to many Contemporary Christian concerts, with many of the best artists who have performed Christian music over the past ten years. Unfortunately, Mark Schultz has not come to Kansas City area, which is where I live. I hope someday he comes here as I would love to see him perform in person. I just might find out where he is performing and go see him there.

I hope you will. Which other artists have you heard?

This is kind of an oldie now, but I hope you like it:

Wow, you guys have attended a lot of concerts!

I was in a band in 2002 and e-mailed Phillips, Craig, and Dean about a song of theirs that we covered. To my delight, they answered me and just couldn't have been more generous. Wonderfully decent guys, and I'll never forget the first time I heard "When God Ran." (My fave song is "One Single Light.")

I love Selah too. I'd never heard, despite their being very old hymns, two of their songs--"Before the Throne of God" and "O, the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus." Beautiful harmonies.

I will have to check out the songs you've just given me. I don't believe I know them.

As best as I can recall, our first Christian Concert was a Gaither Concert in December of 2011 which means we have seen all these performers in exactly 6 years. We have seen Casting Crowns 3 or 4 times and the same with Chris Tomlin. Many of these performers were opening acts for Chris or Casting Crowns. I love this music. It is so uplifting.

I think you'll love those Selah songs. I've always wanted to hear Casting Crowns in concert and also Chris Rice.

I'm off to Bible study this morning and have yet to listen to all the music. I have listened to When God Ran and I like that one a lot. I will need to add it to my collection. As for "One Single Light," I take it that it was not a Phillips, Craig, and Dean song. What artist does the best with it? I will try to listen to the rest later today.

It is a Phillips, Craig and Dean tune from Restoration (1999). Here is another song from that:
