The Good Samaritan?

Mark 12:29

"And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:"

Mark 10:18
"And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God."

The word "good" does not appear in the passage describing the person known as The Good Samaritan.

Jesus did not deny that He was "good".

Is there always a point to a discussion or could parables remain parables?

But if a 'point' is desired, let me start by saying that my goal in life is NOT to make 'points' but rather bring in some forms of being able to 'think' for oneself and to explain their position on why they think the way they do. There is no 'point' as to why there are mass murderers, but they do have their voices also. There is no 'point' in making statements of facts. The only point in life is to get better at living by learning to correct mistakes..

I always though the point in life was making it to the next day.
