This was a nice story, it's also coincidentally the last state to get a Chabad. The community hasn't had a pulpit Rabbi in quite some time, and I think the hope is that a real outreach effort will bind the community together and bring in some hidden members who probably haven't been counted in the rolls. In terms of financial support though I wonder if they'll take up local jobs after the initial grant runs its courts. Maybe as a mashkiach (though where?) for the Rabbi and a teacher/tutor/daycare for the Rebbetzin.
