What would you ask him?
Post them here and I'll have a guess at how he'd reply.
My "credentials"?- I'm a non-denominational 'Freelance Christian' and modestly claim to know something about the bible and have gained quite a fan following as I've strutted my stuff in assorted discussion forums over the years under various screennames, as well as getting the usual hate mail..;)

Sorry, but my cousin isn't taking anymore questions.

"Have a guess at how He'd reply"? And how would you "have a guess"?

Why can't we have oceans full of wine? The Pacific could be whites and the Atlantic could be reds.

I'd ask him to make you sit down and shut up.

I'd ask him what he and the Father and the Holy Spirit were doing in the endless eons before the universe was created.

They were playing gin rummy. A prophet told me.

Jesus, why did you get so angry and kill the fig tree?

I have been compiling a list of questions that have no clear answers for a very long time and that and the love I have known is all I ask to take with me. But I suspect that Jesus won't have time to answer all the questions I have already plus all those I will no doubt accumulate in the future, but I presume he has folks he can delegate to help me out. :)

Id hand him a bible and ask "Can I get a rewrite?"

I would ask Him WHY it was necessary for God to have blood sacrifice of His own son in order to forgive the sins of the world. Why could God not have just waved his all-powerful hand and forgive the sins? Was God too weak to do that? Is He a God that demands blood sacrifices of the innocent to pay for the sins of the guilty?

It's a horrible (and very pagan) concept and so I'd like to know why a loving God would ever do such a thing.

I find it abominable and impossible to reconcile with a benign Creator.

Jesus, it isn't easy to be humble. Show me how.

Exactly. At the heart of Christianity is something deeply unpleasant. When I was at Catholic schools I already started wondering why a 'Father' should wish his 'Son' to be tortured to death. But to have raised the issue would have made life difficult. To 'redeem' his 'creation', humans, who had already been around for a couple of hundred thousand years? Pretty nasty stuff.

Indian could be Rosé, Arctic could be bubbly, Antarctic could be icewine, then we have the seas. Mediteranian could be Ale, Black sea could be stout, Red sea could be red/amber ales, Timor sea coudl be IPA`s etc etc...

ha....sorry you beat me too it and I hadn't read this far.

Nobody knows. Jesus hinted that our human minds don't have the horsepower to take all that x-files stuff on board-
"You hardly believe me when I tell you earthly things, so how would you believe me if I told you heavenly things?....
....I know where I came from and where I am going, but you have no idea where I come from or where I am going.....you are of this world, I am not of this world" (John 10:38,3:12,8:14,8:23)

Jesus, why did you get so angry and kill the fig tree?

He was half-human so his human side naturally showed through at times.
Same with Spock, he's half-human too but emotion sometimes shows through-

Any true Christian will do, they're the next best thing to asking JC himself..;)

Thanks for the compliment mate, I know I'm a fearsome opponent on the debating circuit, right Rock?

"C'mon, it's true, but that don't bother me, I just wanna prove somethin', I ain't no bum, it don't matter if I lose, don't matter if Desperado opens my head.
The only thing I wanna do is go the distance, that's all.
Nobody's ever gone fifteen rounds with Desperado. If I go them fifteen rounds, an' that bell rings an' I'm still standin', I'm gonna know then I weren't just another bum from the neighborhood"...

While I do believe the Holy Spirit gives Christians a leg up to understand many things, I don't know any Christians who can answer most of my question. I know a lot of true Christians up close and personal, and I count myself as a Christian but I don't know and don't know anybody who knows for example:

1. Are there other civilizations out there? Are they like us or very different? Does each one have the blessing of knowing their own "Jesus"? If we are the only ones, why us?

2. How did you really create the universe? Did our scientists get close with their theories?

3. What is the length and breadth of the universe or is it infinite and eternal?

4. Are there dogs in heaven?
