Muslims - Jesus was not crucified?

Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet. So why didn't they believe him when he said this in Luke 24:7?

"The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' "

the only correct statement you made in your last post was
So I refuted your statement with my 3 links, while you, as usual, just Emptily say my other claims are wrong.
This is debatepolitics. "No" is not debate.

EDIT to below usual one-liner
Asked and answered in THIS post above, while dimensionallava put up NO Links, or even personal counternarrative, for his allegation that ALL my statements but "one" were wrong.
I will not get into a 8-word-per-post dimensionallava Last-Wording NON-DEBAIT as below.
He owes the board EVIDENCE/Backing for his allegation ALL of my claims but "one" are "Not correct."
He dishonestly 'short-quotes' my posts in ALL his replies, and as below, is Nonresponsive when asked for evidence that my other claims were wrong.
Instead answers a demand for evidence with a question/bait.

they believe
bible is changed

they believe
bible is changed

Sure, they believe the Bible has changed regarding the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus, but there's no credible evidence the earliest manuscripts have changed, and I submit they haven't taken a close look at that.

there are several problems with this.

1. Jesus was mortal. He was both God and Man, however He was still a mortal and could suffer the same injuries as anyone else.
2. This was falsified by the people that saw him after this crucifixion and they saw the nail and the spear injuries.

3. The crucifixion of Christ lasted as long as Christ needed it to last. He had the ability to lay down his own life and take it up again.
Father into your hands I commend my Spirit and then he died.

unless you dont believe all of the bible then those problems go away

Have you actually studied the earliest manuscripts? Where's the evidence that all four Gospel accounts of the crucifixion and death of Jesus were changed?

If you don't know it's proof you haven't done a serious study on them.

So why do you make claims about things you don't know about?

because historian scientists said that christianity made it by constantine 300 years after jesus death .it is fact

Nonsense. You haven't done a serious study on that either.

hard to call yourself a Christian if you don't believe the bible.
actually they don't go away as the bible is the authoritative works on Jesus.

umm yes because even today historians don't accept all historical documents as accurate so why would the council?
the issue with those are that the author couldn't be verified and on top of that they conflicted with the other books that had already been accepted.

that is why books like the book of Mary , Thomas and Judas were not included as they were gnostic writings and continue to be gnostic writings.

not a problem if your Muslim

the bible is not the final authority in that faith either

That's what Muhammad came up with in a cave, by himself, some 600 years after the event.

On the other hand, there's multiple, independent, first-century witnesses and others who confirm Jesus' death by crucifixion, and his resurrection. Take your pick which one you believe.

I never said I believed it... just that they thought that. Jesus was crucified no doubt. He then laid buried in his grave forever.

Truly dead people don't come back to life, and I mean not a person that was freezing cold due to being in an icy river.

You might want to study up on the miracles of one Smith Wigglesworth, who by the Spirit of God raised a number of people back to life.

Serious study when the first thing you give me is this:

During the trip the car conked out as the petrol had run dry and the friend’s ration of petrol had all been used up. They were 17 miles from their destination and Smith was supposed to preach. He calmly asked the friend if he had any water with him and he did. He instructed the friend to pour it into the petrol tank, which in normal circumstances would have wrecked the car. However, after several attempts at starting the car it kicked into life and they drove on to their speaking engagement. The friend had a mechanic check the tank later and he found pure petrol in the tank with no trace of any water.

There is nothing verifiable here and I clearly said truly dead... not somebody that just died for a few minutes and came back, that type of stuff happens commonly enough.

Bishop Ronald Coady and his wife were ministering in New South Wales, Australia, in 1950 where they met a Methodist deaconess called sister Mary. She had brought them large quantities of tracks to use in their crusades.

While there, they were reading Stanley Frodsham’s book, Smith Wiglesworth-apostle of faith. The incident of his raising of a young woman from the dead especially had gripped them, and when Sister Mary came in, they read it to her, adding, “how we should love to meet that lady!”

She said, “you know that lady.”

They protested that they did not, but she persisted, “you’ve known her for sometime. I am that lady.”

The three of them laugh together with holy joy at God’s “coincidences.”

She told them of being paralyzed from the waist down in 1922 and a being seriously ill. Wigglesworth was holding meetings in her town, and her friends urged her to let them take her to the meeting for prayer. However, she did not believe in divine healing and did not wish to be prayed for.

She soon became worst and, in fact, was dying. Her friends asked her if she would allow the evangelist to pray for her if they brought him to the house. She finally consented, but he was delayed. Before he arrived, she died.

Sr. Mary Pople related that she went to heaven and was allowed in the throne room. She saw the Lord Jesus sitting on his throne. She saw the light such as she had never seen and heard music such as she had never heard before. Her heart was filled with rapturous joy.

As she looked at the Lord, He pointed to the doorway by which she had entered, and she knew she had to go back even if she did not want to. When she went through that door, she heard a voice that later she knew was Smith Wigglesworth’s. He was saying, “Death, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.” Then he commanded Mary to live.

Her eyes open, and those who had been weeping around her bed began to rejoice. She rose and dressed, and there was a knock at the door. Some girls from her Bible study group had arrived, thinking she was dead. To their surprise and joy, Marry herself opened the door to them.

She continued in the Lord’s service for many years. Not only was she raised from the dead, but she was totally healed of her sickness that had been on to death and of the paralysis that had bound her for years.

Without faith, it is impossible to please him.

An unbeliever reading about the supernatural is probably still going to be lost in the woods.

For the record, numerous individuals have confirmed Wigglesworth's healings and individuals raised from the dead.

And you have never seriously investigated it.

Were are these miracles now and why are none being documented? Holding on to unconfirmable fables from long ago is ridiculous and anything but logical.

For that matter, can it be shown that the stories about Wigglesmith are true??? Particularly the 'petrol' story?? Where is the outside verification?

That one kinda cracked me up... his sermon is of such importance that he can change water into petrol.

Why not go down to the starving poor people and turn rocks into bread instead of being selfish...

There's healing services going on across America.

He gave them the manna from heaven instead, which is far better.
