Can God change his mind?

Got me there. Thought I saw it mentioned in a documentary film (Religulous), can't find it back. It's indeed not in the bible. However, God did change his mind about that.

Well no, he never made pork a capital crime. He didn't change his mind at all.

He did about it being an unclean animal to eat.

That law was given only to the Jews. It was never intended by him to be of universal application or to last forever.

The Lord also makes other people change their mind. In Exodus you can find various examples of plagues affecting Egypt, pharaoh letting Moses and the jews go, but ultimately changing mind not out of free will, but because "Lord had hardened his heart". This makes God directly responsible for a massive post birth infanticide and worse than Planned Parenthood.

Never meaning to last forever, means changing your mind at some point. The fact that Jesus was not sent from the very beginning also means God changing stuff mid course.
