The windows of heaven have opened...

God's blessings continue to roll in. I have a wonderful new job that I love, that is providing us with considerably more income than the previous job. My son and my niece (both live with me) are both employed full time, and we are prospering, so we're expanding our efforts to help others in our family and neighborhood who are in need.

Not that everything is all smooth sailing of course... we have our problems, but in the light of God's love they just seem too trivial to complain about. :D

Fair Warning: if you can't stand to hear God praised or hate to hear someone say they've been blessed, NOW is the time to bail out of this thread!

Folks, we've been having some tough times here at Casa McGoshin for a while... things were getting mighty thin and hope was hard to scrape up, but many have been lifting us up in prayer, and God has answered, and my heart is overflowing in the joy of His grace. Things are turning around for us in a big way, blessings are falling on us every which way we turn, Angels of Mercy are knocking on our door night and day.

The windows of heaven have been opened, and He has poured us out such blessings that there is barely room enough to receive it.

I cannot keep silent, or the stones will cry out.

HOLY IS THE LORD! HOLY IS THE LORD! HOLY IS THE LORD!

GOD IS GOOD! HE IS FAITHFUL TO KEEP HIS PROMISES! HOLY IS THE LORD!

No merit of mine, but His Grace alone!

GOD HAS HEARD, AND HE HAS ANSWERED! HE HAS ANSWERED!

Praise be to the one who loves us, and praise to those who continue to seek His help.

I find His timing impecable, but curious, as for me it gets painful. I confess, my faith has been very challenged. Pain, headaches and nausea 24/7, unable to walk or stand steady, unable to attend services, becoming isolated in the pain and discomfort. And then the mental illness, anxiety and depression because of the worsening physical condition. My recovery is not as dramatic as yours, in fact very subtle with tiny indicators of hope.

I too needed to come back in here and give thanks for the prayers on my behalf as things do get better in His time and in His way.

And I pray in gratitude that you are being given what you need to deal with your troubles, and that you recognize this as a blessing, one of those undeserving gifts He sends our way as His way of saying "hey, I got this, and don't forget I love you."

Still lifting your name up in prayer, friend. You are not forgotten.

Thank you Lord, for prayer answered.

I try to remember that a lot of times, we have to be patient.....but there are moments when I still tend to worry. Thank you for letting me know that you hear me (and to wait).
Now I look back and things are clicking in - by what I recently found out, and the way things had unfolded - for me to understand why I had to wait.....and indeed, You know what is best for me (and us).

I say this publicly that you may be glorified. You are the only God.
