Blessed Easter to All.
Tonight on NBC a 12 part series A.D. The Bible Continues begins 9/8 Central. Executive producers Mark Burnette and Roma Downy.

Friends of mine just returned from a cruise with Dr. David Jeremiah. He happened to be one of the consultants on the series and says it is biblically accurate. The series will cover the Book of Acts of the Apostles.

Hope all had a wonderful Easter.

Well, heck; I'd forgotten about this. Thank you very much for the reminder, Vesper. I wonder if my Suddenlink "Free on Demand" feature will allow me to watch several episodes at once next weekend.

I was privy to the knowledge that the first episode would end with the screen going dark as soon as Caiaphas got word that the Roman seal on the tomb had been broken while all the Roman guards were there to ensure there would be no one to remove the body due the significance in Bible prophecy by request of Caiphas. I thought the first episode was well done. However, I look forward to watching it on DVD void of all the advertisements. But even with the commercials I give it a thumbs up!

Greetings, Vesper. :2wave:

What I watched tonight was super! I have checked Amazon, but I am not sure what to order - I would like the entire series, but it seems it should be more expensive than what they are showing. How many DVDs does it take to get the entire series? Help a dummy out here, please....

Gee Pol I don't have a clue. I haven't checked further to order the series on DVD. I'll be tuning in for the next episode. When it is completely finished then I will look to get the series on DVD. But like you I did think it was well done or as you put it Super.

I guess I will wait, then. I'm just afraid I might miss an episode ...

I admit I wasn't too thrilled with the prospect at first - just too many disappointments in the past with programs like that. But I saw one of the programs and now I wish I'd have recorded them all. I *am* recording the remainder however.
