Record breaking crowd turn out for Pope's visit to Phillipines[W:33:41]

Re: Record breaking crowd turn out for Pope's visit to Phillipines

So it's exactly as I said it was? You guys think that because I have no god I can not possibly be moral?. . . . .

I did not say that. Sure, its "possible" you can be. But I would contend that your morals are the result of living in a western society which laws and culture are the result of Judeo-Christian tradition. I highly doubt you grew up an atheist. Am I correct? Be honest.

Re: Record breaking crowd turn out for Pope's visit to Phillipines

The pope is a professional child molester; nothing more.

'ol bergoglio has failed to expel any of the senior ecclesiastical officials responsible for shuffling abusing priests around in the 80s and 90s.

This Pope has done more to pay attention to the victims of said abuse, and to punish the perps that any that have come before him. He made a 8 member committee to address the situation, and included someone who had been a victim as one of the members. Your comment against Francis is inaccurate and uncalled for. While there are issues he can rightly be criticized on, this particular subject is not one of them.

Boy, if I get going on that subject. . . . . . .

The press totally duped Americans on that whole issue. But I will not muddy this thread with that topic..

Re: Record breaking crowd turn out for Pope's visit to Phillipines

This Pope has done more to pay attention to the victims of said abuse,

Like what?! FYI, words, speeches, and posturing (i. e. forming committees) is irrelevant.

and to punish the perps that any that have come before him.

He did not punish the perps in charge of perpetuating the abuse--the bishops/carindals like o'malley, bernard law, roger mahoney, . . .

He made a 8 member committee to address the situation,

O wow, a committee. Lip service 101--form a committee.

and included someone who had been a victim as one of the members.

Oh my, a politically correct committee. Lip service 202.

Your comment against Francis is inaccurate

Yes, how inappropriate to demand a leader take action against abuses (i. e. restoring trust by punishing the senior-most offenders) as opposed to forming useless committees and giving speeches that ultimately have zero effect.

and uncalled for. While there are issues he can rightly be criticized on, this particular subject is not one of them.

Indeed, I'm sure he's total f--- up in addition to being a professional child molester.

Re: Record breaking crowd turn out for Pope's visit to Phillipines

Anyway......

The thread is about a great pope bringing God's message to millions of people. Can we stick with that subject?

Where is the "great pope" ? All I see is some old fart too weak/nimble-minded to do anything about his church's habit of molesting young boys.

So it's exactly as I said it was? You guys think that because I have no god I can not possibly be moral? Are atheists the reason these Philipino children are starving? Why doesn't religiosity correlate correlate with a nation's success?

If this thread were just about the Pope's speech and didn't involve petty jabs at non-believers, we wouldn't be here.

You are digging your own grave with the nasty comments.

You are showing your total ignorance on this subject. You are not posting facts, you're just posting anti-Catholic bigotry. Take your hate somewhere else.

If that is what your warped mind sees then maybe you are the real molester, since that is all thats on your mind.

Indeed, I'm sure he's total f--- up in addition to being a professional child molester.

As I said, you are probably the real molester, since that is all thats on your mind.

You found it!

Re: Record breaking crowd turn out for Pope's visit to Phillipines

Well, the Mass video is super short: Its not the actual Mass. But its something until I find a better one.

The music was awesome, though. I don't have much time to watch but it does look like they cut some things out.

Well, the mass was over an hour and the video is 48 seconds. LOL

The second one is longer but I didn't watch the whole thing. I'll check it out later.
