Will someone remind me again how the elleged "Gay Rights" movement doesn't affect me?

Re: Will someone remind me again how the elleged "Gay Rights" movement doesn't affect

Is it weak compared to the study that you posted?? Really??

For example, when ti comes to 'kids delayed sexual activity'.. how do they know?? They seem to be relying on self reporting. Is that self reporting accurate, or are they giving the researchers what they want to know??

It's far better than no control at all.

A better measure is 'How many kids get pregnant.' The "abstinence only" education States the rate of pregnancy and of STD's are higher than in states with a more comprehensive sex education. That's the measure of success.

And it's a terrible measure of success, because you have enormous demographic and cultural differences between states.

Shrug. The fact of the matter remains, states with those programs consistently fair worse than the other states. Your excuses are null, your attempts to rationalize things away are noted.

Right, because my concerns are totally irrational, that must be it.

If you say so, I will accept your self evaluation.

And if that is his feeling and he wants to say such, then okay. I can understand that.

However, I've not ran into a Christian who has told me that an obese person is not "Christian", even if he claims he is, because he's continually willfully indulging in a lifestyle of sin (gluttony). I've never ran into a Christian who has told me that a single man who's slept with multiple women and continues to go out on dates and endevour to sleep with those women as well when he does is not "Christian, even if he claims he is", because he's continually willfully indulging in a lifestyle of premarital sex. The only time I've seen a Christian claiming that someone engaging in a lifestyle that is considered "sinful" is somehow "not christian", regardless of what they consider themselves or anything else they do, is homosexuality.

Also, forgive me but I'm taking him at face value.

He claims that a homosexual must be cellibate in order to be christian. Not that they need to strive to be cellibate. Not that they may falter at times, but as long as they are efforting to not engage in homosexual acts. No, pure cellibacy.

If that is his standard for homosexuals...and that is what he STATES...then one would have to assume it goes similarly for other sinful actions.

I have no issue with a person considering engaging in homosexual acts as sinful. I may not agree, but I recognize that as a difference of opinion regarding religious scritpure and edicts. But that's a large cry different than someone declaring that ONE PARTICULAR sinful lifestyle somehow completely and utterly invalidates someone from being able to be a religion that dictates that every single one of us, on a day to day basis, are living a sinful lifestyle in the sense that it declares us all sinners and recognizes that human nature causes us all to engage in sinful acts and thoughts likely every single day of our lives.

Does he take Jesus to task for turning water into wine?

Since apparently you're putting it forward as an assertion that my point is wrong, perhaps you can point me to the specific time in your near 60 minute video where preach in question indicates that those who drink alcohol are not christian?

You know, since I wasn't suggesting that I've not run into christians who haven't suggested there are other sinful things other than homosexuality. Rather, my suggestion was I haven't ran into another person who has claimed that anyone not completely abstaining from one particular sin, OTHER than homosexuality, is simply NOT christian because of that one fact.

Yes. It is addressed in the sermon.

This is the most hateful preacher in America. It used to be Jack Schaap but Jack Schaap is in jail. Homosexuality is rarely a subject of these type of preachers because it usually isn't that big of a problem of the congregation.

I'm sure he's 100% against alcohol, but he's so hyper I reckon he's been doing lines in the vestry.

It's at the same place where he preached that those who commit sodomy are not Christian.
